As Much as Nokia 5800 looks good and everyone excited to see the first Nokia Touch Screen is out. It is not as good as it looks. The quality of Pacakge is cheap looking feeling holding it. Is not like or feel like holding an expensive phone. It is plastic phone. I Bought several 5800 phone in Thailand around end of November for me and and as gift for several friends.

First major problem ear phone. They were all defected and had to change. Some was okay for while and some keep having the same problem still. Basicly sound go up and down or alot of statics. Next problem is that for typing a sms for touch screen is not like Iphone that you can type your message quickly. It lags and make alot of eror. and in last you ca nnot find any applications for this version of Nokia 5800. There is a new Samsung Omnia HD coming in next few months with same upgrade program which should be a great phone. Looking forward to see it soon.

I finally sold mine and replace with my Old E66 which was happy before. Not saying I owen 2 Iphone which I am very Happy with. Hope my comment help you and rush to quick to buy this phone.

    Hi,

    Can anyone answer my question?

    Hi Friends,

I happen to do a lot of messaging on my nokia phones and am able to access the frequent messagers via the Recently used or via open log buttons on my 6233. I find this very convenient rather than going into contacts every time. Is something similar available on the 5800.
Thanks in advance for the response
    Regards,
    Avi

AyashiFX55, 01 Mar 2009Dude, why u guys keep on sending to nokia centre if its the... moreSo you think you're an expert?! My phone is not turning on and not charging at all! So why do you think i would bring it to Nokia Care Center in the first place. And even if it has speaker problem, i won't fix it myself because it has warranty and i paid for that warranty! Why should i fix it myself? I am not as S**PID as YOU! Maybe if i just bought my phone without any warranty that i will opt to fix it by myself? Don't you think that is more logical?!
