Hi everybody... I'm very interested in buying a nokia 5800 express music but till now i can't choose between the red and the blue....i'm a girl so any advice?...and...is there an option for security lock for keypad? I don't want anybody to be able to use my phone or read any msg that pops in...Thanks

I have updated the firmware and was told i can use the secondary camera on the front for pictures. how can i even do that? or at least activate it? please advise me someone!

hii,, sebastian, plzz tell me should i buy this fone coz i newer use touch phone, and i m thinking that screen could scrach when i tap from my finger or thumb? and plzz tell me 1 thing life of touch screen, like other fone like n 73, had good button and may b newer get any problem from 5years, and i seen it on mall, i like it but i afraid to spen 19000rs, on it coz of screen , reply,, RAj

i tried nokia upgrade... moreI just updated the firmware yesterday..
omg it's SO MUCH BETTER. So much faster.
fixed all the previous problems.
Now officially an iphone fighter!~ lolz

wayne, 26 Feb 2009do you think this phone is durable? especially its case. be... moreHonestly wayne, most phones are fragile. Most phones won't "break" when you drop them. But it would get scratched up with dents. Durability? well it depends on how long you intend to use it for. Everytime i buy a new phone i told myself omg this phone is so nice (and expensive) i think i'll use this forever ... but ends up buying another one a year later. So if a phone is problem-free that year... God blessed!
Most phones are plastic anyways... and this is touch screen so don't expect this to be a smooth flat rock!
but i do love it. it's rigid in phone standards. and i think Nokia has done alot of research on making phones more durable... against normal wear and tear...
My previoius nokia classic 6500. i poured wine on the keypads. Still works! I think it was luck but honestly this is a good phone. It's touchscreen so u have to be more careful than the other ones.
Think about it. This phone is rather cheap compare to most decent touch screen smart phones. U are left with 2 options really. get this phone or get the iphone 3g which every other kid has. Remember also the iphone is already "old news" since it was launched last summer. If you really want an iphone i suggest you wait for the next one. (Steve Jobs ALWAYS have new stuff every year) Or get this phone if you really need one now. Yes there are a bunch of new better touchscreen smartphones announced and came out recently but honestly they are not gonna be in our hands until at least the end of the year. (and they are very expensive to start). Most of them probably 2x the price of this phone.... so u don't have many choices.

i tried nokia upgrade and i even tried it through my phone, but of no use...it shows, no update available....
my phone shows v11 version...plzzzz help

I can talk for 5 hours nonstop on this PHONE, your IPHONE can't.
Iphone? let's talk for 1 hour and if it hangs up wait two hours because u need to charge it. They can't have replacement batteries remember? So if ur planning to take your phone out the whole day you better not touch that touch screen much cause then u'll drain it all. Oh yeah the iphone has a million things to do, but you are allow to do all these PLUGGED lolz

Something the iPhone can do that this can't do.
I can take my iPhone to Europe OR America and use 3G in both places, the 5800 can't it's one or the other, depending on the model.
So this definately can't do everything the iPhone can do.

Anonymous, 26 Feb 2009i've got the phone...yeah mxit for the N95 8gig works fine.......Cool man. You have any problems using MXIT on it? How's is it in terms of ease of use and typing etc in terms of using MXIT on it or any other instant messaging apps for that matter?

nokia 5800 user's does this phone got no problem at all? i mean the ear peice and the touch screen sensitive does it already configured by nokia.. anyone pls help cant decide on which on this se w960i or se g900 or this nokia 5800... help me...

Raj, 26 Feb 2009can anyone tell me..the use of upgradation to v20....i mean... moreyes, it is necessary to upgrade to v20...your unit will work faster and more efficiently and the secondary (front) camera can be used to take picture and shoot video after the update...
