hi.. many said that this phone has many bugs.. and also its 3MP is not good as other 3MP phones. i dont expect much about 3MP phone but at least i like it to perform like other 3MP phone. does updating can fix these? thanks!

i bought this phone last feb14. it's cool. tested everything and it works fine. battery life lasts 2.5 days. i always use this to send messages, music, and internet. no problem for me. great experience.
question? where can i find free applications and games and themes for this phone? thanks.

cedric, 18 Feb 2009when choosing something,do you really have to press 'hard' ... morenot that hard. other keys need to be pressed twice. when i type text messages it's just so smooth.

hi guys i got a problem with my 5800.the phone doesnt seem to log on to any cell network.if i try to make a call it says 'no network coverage'.the sim is working perfectly on my other handset.i have tried the hard reset also. but still the problem is there.it was working fine for 2 days then the problem started.if anyone knows anything pls help,thanks guys

Best phone I've ever had, it feels great to hold, the carrying case is very nice to the touch also. I love it, I use it California with Tmobile USA, I heard that they might release a north american version later this month. I dont care though. I bet the Euro version is better.
The wifi it picks up is super fast, I just need to find where you can download other color themes.
You can use anything to touch the screen as well, which is nice. It comes with the coolest little guitar pick and 2 styluses. And it has a setting for when you are typing, where it slightly vibrates to let you know you hit a key. Its neat, feels like you are really pushing buttons. A friend commented that its like mini electric shock, I like it though.
The game bounce that comes with it has nintendo 64 graphics! So neat.. and addicting.
Great phone I love it.

So its constant firmware updates for 5800 then huh?
Is it ever going to be used or is it going be stuck to a wire upgrading its firmware 24/7!?
Seriously even its camera says 'Carl Zeiss' label on the back yet iv seen better camera quality on a 2MP Phone!
And then it has a 'XpressMusic' Logo? Music huh? If the Battery Life can barely last 1 Day then when you gonna listen to Music on it huh?????
Thats just Nokia doing Marketing Gimmicks!
Then Nokia fans critisize other brands for stuff, LOOK AT WHAT NOKIA IS DOING FIRST!!!! Playing sticker games!

The Nokia 5800 battery life is good for me. It lasts up to 3 days with little usage like txting & quick browsing for nba scores. The Nokia 5800 has been good to me and havent had any issues with it so far and Im on the latest firmware v20.

For the next 3 recharges, recharge it for contineous 8 hours(not more). Recharge only after the phone turns off by itself. By the 3rd recharge you battery life will be normal. (4 days standby time, 5-6 hours wifi, 5-6 hours navigation, 35 hours music, 5 hours video.. all continueous)

To day i m see iphon 2g & nokia 5800 in secound hand market. They give iphon in 14500 & 5800 in 15500 in indian rupees. Whats your opinian ? Which model i buy ? Hu was best for me ? To inforam you all i m E90 usar but i cant control my self for touch phon today so please guide me.

i di some update on my 5800 red im from the philippines and i use euro red EMEA using phoenix , version 20 firmware fix some bugs on the phone very very nice upgrade and touch sensitivity acts fast with the newest firmware and you can even use the front cam for taking pics...pls act now upgrade your firmware...tia

just got it today. so wonderfull, the touch screen so easy to use...handwriting im gettin use to it and its quite fun , music is quite loud but if u use the earpiece...very nice audio quality! camera...not so bad...it got 3.2mp carl zeiss..wat i can say is....4/5!!
