Dear 5800 expert,
kindly tell me how can i watch full screen videos.i have converted videos to mp4 but all r in cinema scope and screen becomes small.plz help.by the way i bought this phone yesterday and i updated it to 20 version.this is great phone.really worthwhile.

I am using this phone right now. Typing text messages could be done using full QWERTY keyboard, which you have to do it sideways on your phone, the alphanumeric keys, which is pretty convenient if you need to use only one hand, or the handwriting recognition, which I really haven't used because I like the alphanumeric keys much better.

I used my dad's 5800 for typing a message, IT WAS HORRIBLE, i made so many mistakes, and i was typing so slowly, my hands are small >.

ive noticed that when i listen to music or speak to som1 using the headset, there is difference in volumes of the two sides. Te left one is way louder than the right one.. Is this happenning with others too or am i the unlucky one

Guys you gotta help me please , bought 5800 a week ago in exchange of an n95 8gb.
Whenever i download a video from youtube or dailymotion and convert it into mp4 my cell doesnt supports it , it only plays the song not the video , please help me with this problem

mine is red colour and firmware is v11. when i update the phone with nokia software updater , it say "please note that u r mobile service provider , operater or carrier may not have approved the latest nokia device firmware available."
pzl help me , what to do for it.

its ppl misconception that all products made by china r of cheap quality,
quality standards r same, so all the 3 r the same,
the labour cost in finland is higher than of China, but it makes up for the import cost.
so the EU countries have more of made in hungary and finland than of China
and asian contries r supplied with CHina products :)

i hav heard abt NOKIA handsets made in finland,hungary,china,etc.... n heard best of all in quality wise is from finland..... is it so....??? is it true....????
one person had also written comments d same way...as below....

For example, my mum's E71 was made there.
My older brother's 6500 slide and my 5220 were made in Hungary.
Tomorrow I'll check were my friend's 5800 was made.
Now I'm curious... I think it depends on the market they sell it in the end. Some people were complaining that their 5220 were "Made in China" and had lots of problems. Mine never had those problems.))))))))
so pls clear my doubt this tym also.... thanks a lot again....

Well i own an Iphone an E90 and i bought this phone few days ago.
first impressions were the phone looked too much plasticky or cheap.
later i got used to it,
after using iphone the touch screen in this phone seemed too slow and required unnecessary pressure.
The OS lacks many features MAINLY SCROLLING they should have stimulated scrolling as in iphone, but they didnt, and they didnt seem to include the Mark option, rather they just added MARK ONE OR MARK ALL.
The Browser is a bit disappointing even thou its Safari For Nokia, there r unnecessary buttons on the screen for new tabs and stuff, they shud have had it more like Iphone's browser.
The Input methods r okay, not great, the Alphanumeric keypad is the only thing that works for me, the Full screen querty keyboard is a turn off, as the whole screen turns black and the keyboard appears, there is no smooth shifting.
And for ppl who use Chat applications, this phone is a major Issue, as the keyboard will cover the entire screen.
Nokia should have went for the keyboard as in Iphone.
If Nokia had incorporated all the features of Iphone
( scrolling, Keyboard and Cover flow )
and last but not least, the Sensor for tilting of the Screen is really BUggy as the shift is done with a black out with the screen.
Am gonna sell this phone as i mainly use Internet Chat, and for chat applications this phone sucks
ive used MSN messenger and slick,
E90 has ease of usage with its keypad, Iphone has smooth shift of keybord in Fring.
i Feel like a beta tester for nokia, and want a refund :P i think the next release of a S60 v5 touch will be a blast,
they must offer all 5800 Users special discount or exchange offers
