i lik this set 5800 so very much..... but im also looking for "cam" n "music" powerpacked.... can u suggest me any set tat will fulfill my needs/desire..... pls try to help me out,also inside Rs.20k.... but this set s really power packed for misic n it is fully load for accessories i know.....
even if u can suggest me one from any other brand also fine.... adv thanks a lot....

I mainly use my phone for music (through headphones) and the 5800 just wasn't as loud as my old 5610, which is why I have gone back to it and sold the 5800. The 5610 also produces better pictures. I had both phones at the same time, so was able to make a direct comparison.
I will miss the large screen, wifi and gps, and the sound through the speakers was amazing, but music through headphones was most important for me.

Hi Mr. Nokia 5800 Exper
i would like to ask that, when the 5800 goes on key lock for five mins, the screen goes blank. when aperson calls, the caller id does not show the ringing is ok. The vib is ok but there is this blank screen on the phone.
Is the phone ok or can you pls guide me on the web page the i can update the phone software Thanks

Guess what! I updated my 5800xm to 20.0.012 through software updater of nokia, and it works like a charm, much faster lots of bugs fixed and new look and feel to the phone. I can finaly use the front camera!!!. Nokia rocks .....

i'm from the Philippines and i updated my 5800 (NSU)yesterday.but after the update, the "search" function has an error and the added dictionary application cannot be opened. then i reset my fone using *#7370#, my 5800 works fine & faster than before.

its been head that nokia has temporarily withdrawn tht v20software update for 5800 TUBE>>
and will be available soon after fixing the lock code issue.

use the vide grabbing site
{keepvid. Com } there u hav option to save mp4 high quality mode...
u cud even download it from any video hosting website like dailymotion....

Me Nokia 5800 Expert here If you have any question to ask you can ask me freely & I will be repling you back, I'm here now upto 8 hours of my duty hours. My suggestion regarding Nokia 5800 is that it is AWESOME set but night camera is not good as the result is better in day time, if you are buying this mobile for camera purpose kindly do not buy then except that this set is one of the Best set ever made by Nokia. You may Go for it.

Black version is not better than the red and blue, there is som striction in it, and is built mainly for US with contracts, maybe is better to check for black cowers instead!
