hi everyone, i just have a few question to ask. May i know how long does the battery last for numerous use? pls... i need an exact answer. Hows the camera? Hows the sound quality?

hi dudes i have nokia n95 and i wanna buy nokia 5800 what you suggest to me keep my n95 or buy 5800 i wanna try the touchscreen i love it

I just bought it n 3 days later i sold it cause why the video camera is very so ugly especially in the night. The loud speaker is not so loud compared to n81 6110 n n95. I was so dissapointed then goodbye 5800 but i wait for another nokia phone with loudspeaker like 6233. I'll wait ok.

if you want to send message you should make the settings for message server or you cand request a settings-message to your network operator. enjoy your 5800

Yaser, 04 Feb 2009Anyone has any problem sending files from Laptops to 5800??... moreIt is not nokia 5800xm problem about sending or receiving files threw BT with your laptop, but that's Microsoft's problem the way they share, so you have to manege the way you can solve this problem, because the bluetouth from your laptop have many canals that they call them ports or serial ports, and the nokia have multichannel to but every channel is named as BT-headset, BT-stereo headset, BT-car dashboard device or any other device by name, and not like the Microsoft names them serial port0, serial port1 or serial port2 up to 32 ports..., and may work only one from them if you are lucky, it's confusing forget it!!!
I will advice you connect with USB cable it's very fast to operate with transferring files!

My Bluetooth connection is now solved.. I paired the phone with the laptop through Nokia PC Suite and I was asked to confirm installing PC Suite on the phone. I did, and the phone's bluetooth is working perfect now!!

Got the phone for 3 weeks. The only problems so far the front speaker contact everybody mention... fixed though.
Incoming voice sound is ok but could be louder. Camera stuttering (short pause/lag) during video shoot when moving it around.
Started to get freezed few min after each restart. Reset to factory setting helped.
Not fast multiply item selection. Only one by one from options or select all. Makes it hard to manage music. And overall s60 music player like always annoying with this auto sorting.
And few other minor convenience of UI problems that would be nice.

Anonymous, 04 Feb 2009where i can get bulbs for nokia headset???Go and bay on the shop man, they don't cost much 10-15€, but then you get wery god and loud sound quality? Remember the bulbs you can put inside your ear, not the ordinary ones!

Try to locate it in Message settings. Ask your service operator for the correct message center number and correct it. I had once the same problem with another device (sometimes it is not saved automatically in that place from your SIM card...)

A friend of mine bought 5800 a couple of months ago, and concerning the music quality he is extremely satisfied - he says it is better than i-pod's (I suppose i-pod and i-phone have the same mp3 player...) As far as the rest of the features, I think that for this price, you can not get more. The only thing I would prefer for 5800 to have is a beter resolution camera (at least 5mp), but do not forget it is not a high end device. I will buy it soon...
