i'm just wondering on why most of the people posts about the smileys in 5800, in fact it doesn't change the looks of the text whether it has smileys or not!! hehe
can anyone help me in choosing a phone, pls help me to choose the greatest phone among these:
1. Nokia 5800
2. Nokia E71

nokia phones have to the most firmware problems out of all other brands!!!!!, but the phones are good!! hehehe

A great phone. One of the fastest touch screens I've ever used. Great feature set. But one irritating glitch is it switches itself off and on automatically. About 20 times a day or more. It switches back on in about 30 seconds but it is irritating. Anyone know why and any solutions to this problem. I've bought it from a regular dealer only.

hey guy, buy nokia 5800 cus it has all what G900 has.additionally, it has 8GB with nokia of orfford dictionary hehehhey.but the price is much higher than G900 hahahha.

I bought a 5800,and after using it about for a week,a red stuck pixel appeared....i upgraded my software but still it is there....it is only seen on a black background,it gets away when i run a application with a white background,but again reappears later on....what should i do???

hey this phone is absolutely brilliant..!!!..bt i hav 2 probs..firstly i have issues wid d brightness of my phone..aftr lockin my phone .. wen i unlock it..d brightness all of a sudden decreases..!!..
n another thing..which scratch proof screen should i use???..pls reply as quick as you can..thnkz..

I bought 5800 about 03 weeks, great phones with lots of goodies especially screen resol and can played youtube directly, sounds good, easyly handle when messaging better than other touch..phones. But earsound sometimes low and high and the phone usually heating up and drain the power when a application on. Dont know wats the problem,maybe its firmware. camera 3mp same quality as 2 mp without carls zies optics. I think nokia use the cheapest low grade carl zies optics.Overall...nice phone with low price. Hope can upgrade its firmware.

Hi...between the 5800, iphone 16GB and nokia n96. which is better to buy, i am a mobile software freak and i love my phone as a gadget. i love softwares on phone...someone advice me..which do i buy...and please state your reasons

Hows the battery life? is it close to the 8hr 45 mins talk time?
Hows the video quality? too much noise or it is quite satisfactory?

A few bugs that i found..
no exit function or way from full screen Flash content playing..
no way to exit few applications rather to press the red call end button
Gallery sometimes get stuck, may be i have, a hell lot of content in the memory card
music player hangs some time
screen rotation is too sensitive
can any body give me how to get the contents in memory card get displayed in gallery...
its not showing up..
rest its great...and 5800 rocks...
superb fone ,great music, mind-blowing screen clarity
if u r not upto it... keep waiting for advanced gadgets...but u loose ur time...
