Hi Everyone,
i want to share my experiance with my new nokia 5800.
over all it is good but not best, touch senstivity is good. i notice sevral disadvantage and i want to share this to help other who want to buy this phone.
1.it take more time to change image from vertical to horizontal position.
2.every time this phone need to update date & time after switch on.

Hi guys!
I just purchased this 'darling' phone 2 days ago. As usual being a phone freak I would like to install more themes and games (of course meant for Nokia 5800 XpressMusic). I have a small question to ask:
Every time I wanted to install the new themes and games (after successfully downloaded), I have encountered with "Certificate Expired" message and obviously no installation took place.
I have called up Nokia Careline and suggested that I should change the date and time to several months back, BUT no joy!
In the phone installation setting I have set to the following:
1. Software installation to ALL
2. Online Certificate check to OFF
3. Default web address to http://www.nokia.com.my
Having all those changes, the above problem is unresolved.
Can anyone HELP pls! Thanks

Hi Everyone,
I got my phone(BLUE) yesterday, this phone is AWESOME. I would recommend this phone for the first time touchscreen users.
Dealer told me he will get me sennheiser lx90 today, for which he is charging INR.600 extra, but he gave feedback output is below average on sennheiser lx90 headset.
Please provide me input who r using sennheiser lx90 headset.

please help, anyone.. just got the 2nd batch red phone and the lastest firmware. but still "expired certificate" would prompt when installing application downloaded from nokia..please?

the phone is amazing.although the camera is not that good.but its a great phone.either made in china or finland its up the user if he will take care it.thanks

Remember that there are two different factory where it is made from. One is in China another from Finnland. Make sure you get Finnland(or wherever but China) one. Lots of people have trouble from the one made in China. Blue one is made in China especially. Sure you get good ones but also you take the risk of getting lemon. Manufactuering in China has no problem. It's the QC they have major problem with. I never seen anyone having trouble with theirs where it was made in Finnland.

This is good phone and amazing phone and wonderfull phone because of fitures and since this nokia is a nokia is user frendly i going buy this phone as soon is available here in Zimbabwe.

using it for a week now.
pro:
great display, good to operate with one hand, sometimes a little bit too much touches/presses to navigate around.
contra:
not very sensitive gps, time to first fix takes to long, wlan sensitivity fair (any usb-stick on a pc is better), camera/picture quality is bad (lens on rear side has no cover, needs to be cleaned because of fingerprints before taking pictures)
although not as good as i expected when i bought it
i don't regret the buy.

yazan, 21 Jan 2009plz help me wat should i buy N85 or 5800 xpress music or sa... morei already bought 5 phones nokia 5800 all well but handset speakers has prblm but after the revised software the problems cuts to 80 % all very rarly hangs if used for long time when battery heats a litte and amazing touch screen and you can avoid 80% stylus

rukawa, 20 Jan 2009does the GPS system require connection using WIFI or it can... moreIt has integrated GPS so you don't need WiFi for navigation but for using the maps you need Edge, 3G or WiFi connection. Thanks.
