I just downloaded the Google Maps in my 5800. Though it gave a warning of incompatibility I continued to install it and it works nice as described in the gsmarena review.
I have launched google maps and using the GPS and it successfully locked to GPS satellites . The only thing that bothers me is that it pulls the map information from the internet on the fly. So you need to have internet to update the map image on the screen when you go left, right, up or down.
Do you guys know how to download the complete google map of a city first and then move around the city with GPS without requiring the internet? Any idea is highly appreciated.

I just bought this phone ther r two kinds of phones office and multimedia.this phone is the best multimedia touch screen phone in the range below 20000 and has almost all the features u need also as far as sound is considered this phone has amazing clarity

I am loving this touch phone..
Music quality through loud speakers are also great!

if Music is not good via HeadPhone then this is useless phone phone for me for music listener :(

but there is option in mic that you can add customize headphone. Philips is making headphone for Nokia 5800.YOu can buy it.

well if your thinking of getting this phone then ur going 2 be missing al this
Limited 3rd party software availability
UI is still immature with somewhat dodgy user experience
VERY POOR Touchscreen sensitivity
NO smart dialing
POOR image quality and no GPS geotagging
Touch web browser not quite polished
No voice-guided navigation license
No office document editing
I think if u want a good touch phone like this wait till n97, cuz i know if u buy this now when that comes out u shall see that n97 has much more the this MUCH MUCH MORE, im not saying the n97 is GOOD, i hate it, hope nokia gets a n98 in fast and make it a top phone take n95+n96+n97=n98!,one day

I'm not sure abt the IX90. The base effect is really good. i own the cowon D2, the performance of Nokia 5800 can be compared with PMP players only. not with any music edition mobiles.
