Nokia 5800 XpressMusic has lots of fun with video clips like visual songs (all kinds of video formats like mpeg, wmv and 3gp) I really enjoyed it. But only a problem occurred to install software like mentioned as before. Of course, it is quite good media phone. Easily video & image editing & to add text, change sound and merge any image or video clips to make your own caller image, visual songs or film clips.

chad , 18 Jan 2009i bought my 5800 one month ago ,lots lots lots of problems ... moredude for now you have only limited applications because its a new symbian os version 5 if its version 3 then yuo can get all applications you want in the web. iphone:limited memory, 5800:unlimited ,iphone:no sms 5800: can sms ,iphone: no radio 5800:with radio want me to add more?!?

My advice is give it some time =) You know how Nokia's are. Give them 2 or 3 months and they'll have applications and what not for the Nokia 5800. Hope this helps bro.

Although, not only one software but all software are not accessed for installation (such as compatible software like world mate, Adobe leader, Mail for Exchange, Quick office Application and SMSChat so on.
How do I solve this?

I came from a Samsung Omnia and an LG KC910 Renoir and I have to say that it's a totally different experiemce with the Nokia 5800. Great Video player and Music player. Those who are into heavy texting this is your phone especially the ones that drive and text at the same time. Very crisp and clear LCD display. Long battery life and I can hear it when my friends text me in the outdoors. ONLY one drawback, the bloody MicroSD is hard to pull out once its in. Hahaha. That's it. Hope this helps guys =)

I bought just one month ago this Nokia 5800 XpressMusic. However, I have downloaded quick office (software) through WI-Fi. After download completed, I try to install but I have got notification - "Expired certificate". This phone is just lunched and software are not being install. Please advise me about this problem.

rk, 19 Jan 2009hey zaheed... lookin 2 pick 5800. as advised by u .. pick ... moreactually ur local nokia priority dealer would be way more informative than i would be about the topic. So u should ask them. But i my thought it might hav been started selling because 5800was launched today in Bangladesh and we were the latest country till today ti get5800. Another thing u can check is the firmware version;if it's 11 then it is the next batch. So what u can do if ur local nokia dealer can't tell u, u turn any set on and goto menu-settings-phone-phone management-device updates. And check the version. U don't need to check all the sets just one is enough,if the firm ware version is 10.00.08 then it is really likely that the store hasn't got the next batch of phones. AND another thing, visit the largest dealer as they would be more lkkely to have it. I hope it nelps, and bestof luck buying a great set!

where can i update my phone, is it possible to update via website,i am from uae, in nokia uae website there is no update for 5800 and i tried my 5800 update from the update option, i got the message as no new updates available,update wil fix the sound pro

Gsmarena review says that camera is disapointment.and they also compare with Sonyericsson phone and pictures are like camparing vga camera with Sonyericsson 3mp camera phone.is it realy that bad? please reply here.thanks
