It just launched today in Bangl... moreyups got releasd 2day in bangladesh afta a lng wait.Truly its an amazing experience.standing in da line 4 so long paid off afta gettin such a wondrful piece in hnd.truly a gr8 phne.hats off 2 nokia.bt i fnd da web a bit difficult 2 use like scroling up n down n sideways of a web page.sm1 pliz help.

i used to drool at the xperia & really thought that i'll buy it despite the insane pricetag. then the 5800 XM came. boy, was i glad i waited!
i got this for a week now. here's my short review
Love:
large screen, synchronizes with outlook flawlessly, superb sound, touch sensitivity is great, an onscreen QWERTY keyboard that actually works with the thumb, flash3 support in the browser, wifi, GPS, 30fps video recording, price tag
Hate:
accelerometer isn't 360 degrees, no album art when synchronized with WMP11, changing colors in the theme bug, some items are doubletap some are not, no usb charging, no xenon flash
Comments:
i had trouble playing youtube in the browser, then i noticed that you need to use the desktop version (not the mobile version) to get it working, this is the best device that synchronized with outlook so far - seamless, not the best nightmode camera but it's still bearable, when i was adding song to a playlist the phone restarted - though it didn't happen again, the screen sometimes dims even when im still using the touchscreen actively, i have version 11.0.0.8 fw, the included accessories - 8Gb micro SD, tv out cables, headsets, desktop stand - really puts the icing on the cake. for such a price tag, i really recommend you buy it. oh did i mention that it "comes with music"? that's 450+ songs for you to download on Universal Music... just freakin' sweet...

When i add a contact to my phone memory, it stores them twice always? does anybody know why?

Today I got the Nokia 5800xm from Bangladesh. Its really cool! specially sound quality and graphics really great ever in Nokia family! the sensor of this phone is really intelligent. its body structure is really nice.
if you get this phone, you will be proud of it. so dont worry, worth it.

I just updated mine to version 11.0.0.8. To everyone who have updated the 5800, when you update do you get anything new? any new programs? or does it only fix the the problems?

Touch/Bigger Screen. But Nokia still names it Xpress Music phone! What they mean by that, I wonder...

Awesome stuff from Nokia... It just launched today in Bangladesh and I am lucky to get one of this in my hand. The style and look of the phone will be liked by anyone I guess. Touch sensitivity is very good. I was doubtful about it before. The device didnt disappoint me. I am exploring the rest of the feature.. Hoping for the best

I got my 5800 one week a go, and a can't complain anything about it, it's marvelous phone, and you made give me twenty i-phones in exchange for nokia 5800, and believe me that I will simply not accept it from you are anyone!
But, if that is something wrong with chines models, than i don't know about it!

I own this phone - and it really feels like an "unfinished" phone - from a software point of view. I wonder if Nokia will update the firmware - to solve the bugs and improve the functionality of the phone, in the same way they did with E71...

Amazing, that's what this mobile is. Shoot better foto and has better flash than the N96 (I have the N96 too)But the best part is the media section, it's like watching Blueray quality on a tiny screen and very smooth too, then the speakers..Oh mY gOd....So full of sound!!!
Man..anyone who's as crazy as I am with media on a mobile fone, GO GET THIS ONE...GO GO GO

Thanks for taking me out of confusion, u've given enuff information but one thing i didnt understand y gaming is not as good as N81, since it has larger screen & resolution than N81 it should have been far better, anyways i will check that out myself!!!
