Anybody used E90 & replesh it with 5800.....? Write about your experience. I have E90. Told me that i riplec with 5800 ?

SAD... JZ GET MY PHONE LAST NITE..
But i found that.. whn i make a call..
The voice wil suddenly loud den suddenly low..
How come????
Can any1 HELP??? This prob can solve????

mine came with 11.0.008 version. But i want to tell all of you the good news...The new firmware for Nokia 5800 Express Music is now available in NSU...
NSU is the Nokia software updater...
you can goto europe.nokia.com/softwareupdate and download the installer.. you can also check on the page if you can update by using your product code.. this is a 7 digit number starting 05xxxxx and can be found under the battery.. this will show you the latest version you have.. on your device you can use *#0000# to compare the version numbers

Y such a high-end phone oni comes wit 3.2MP camera?it would be perfect if it has 5MP camera instead of 3.2MP...

the camera pictures are really really sh*t. If u wanna take good photos dont buy this. im disappointed :-(

No...i checked it again and again in different conditions. but found nothing .The voice was stable and there is no drop.
May be i am the one who got a good piece. by the way what is your version.If you have ver 10.X.XXX , then upgrade to 11.0.008. Mine is 11.0.008 in which lot of bugs were fixed.

ok you got it for 19100/-.very nice. However i got it for 20500/- with Nokia BH 101 and Nokia car charger absolutely free from the dealer instead of Free Head set.
Ofcourse the deal was for 3 sets.
i got mine on 2 nd of jan 2009.
Reg the SMS issue, i checked mine.it comes in ascending order in the box. Just check again.

Hi Everyone,
I have an issue in my 5800 message inbox. Everytime i go into the INBOX, i find the messages scattered and not in the order i recieved them. So each time i come into inbox, i have to do this OPTIONS-> SORT-> DATE. Is this common or a new issue only to my fone? Please tell me if anyone else is facing this problem and how to solve it. Its very annoying.

As you said , no regrets in buying this amazing beautiful phone. Its a value for money and worth buying.A no of developers has started developing applications compatible to v5 touch phone. The future is moving towards touch and share.

The small stand is very much there in the box. Just open all the covers and see it carefully.
In Wavetel its available for 19500/- in chennai. Only red and blue were shipped here.
I use the red one and two of my office mates also purchased the same.
You can have all the accssories which are shown in Nokia site.

Hi dude...one thing e90 and 5800 ...both are completely different phones according to their style. performance and usability. i have not used it but seen it.its basically for high end users and for office goers. the decision is purely yours.
E90 is very costly and big in size, but it has a big screen ( not touch ) and battery life is good. its for a different kind of people.
Regarding 5800...its a wonderful touch phone created by Nokia.If you are used to button type then its a good to have a touch phone like 5800. The sound quality is good and i cannt explain it here. Because again we should not expect a good or besyt music out of it. Certainly the music is good and listening is pleasant.
You decide which one you want ? as per me, its a good phone with value for money.
Regarding the word and excel file ,it does not have the office suit in it. But Nokia will be giving it very soon. Already they have it in their Hongkong site for free download but its not working. Obviously you can view word, excel , powerpoint and pdf files in it.
After a few days you will finfd a no of 3 rd party application in net.
Hope i clarified your doubts.
Take your own decision and enjoy.

Hi evryone!!I bought the 5800 the day it got launched here in ludhiana,Punjab.It's been couple of days since then,I've had a pretty good experience.My battery's lasting 2days,interface,browsing,calling,everything's smooth & fast.The only problem I've faces till now's that the music player/gallery,suddenly stopped recognising the music files,images,videos present by default on memory card.Somebody help.Thanks.
