I think you have installed a screen protector foil to your phone? 8 mm to the left from the front camera there is a sensor which detects if you have placed your phone to your ear during a phone call. This sensor should not be covered with screen protective foil or any sticker. pls cut a hole to the foil so that sensor works correctly.

hi i just got the 5800 yday but theres something wrong with it. when someone calls me it blacksout on the display although i can still answer the phone calls but i wont be able to see whos calling what so ever. it also happens when im calling out. when it calls out the display jsut blacks out too can someone tell me wats wrong it plzz!! I really need help

Well! Well!! Well!!!
This is a great phone my younger brother bought it last month, its awesome, i love the touch screen. It works perfect. No wonder he drops his iphone at home these days but i can tell you that the speaker of this phone is great and internet is very fast on this device.
I've been convinced to an extent but i'll still continue with my Nokia N96 and await the Nokia N97.
I believe the N97 will be a better phone.
But to be sincere the 5800 is a great phone but lacks huge internal memory thanks to the 8GB included in its pack.

N 95 8gb 5 megpixel. But at low light take pic, 5800 better cuz it come with 2 led flash.Touch screen? Don't worry, now all hp will go 4 friendly touch like i phone. Price i dpt RM 1350 Sja..o one more the review that i send all done by my nokia 5800! Nokia the best. Don't worry just buy it..ok

I got his phone yesterday, and till today the phone has freezed 3 times , each time you have to remove the battery then put it back again to start the phone and you will be surprised when you see that it got back to the factory settings ????? any ideas please .

first congratulations for the phone!!
i am thinking seriously of buying this phone. . but they say it has lots of problems. . such as the loudspeaker problem and the memory problem . . so what do u say about that?? is it true?? or u are not facing anything like that with your phone?? then shall i buy it or search for myself for another device?? are you satisfied or u wish u bought another phone. . that's what i need to know. .
everyone if someone have any advice for me so say it plz i don't wanna regret my descision this time as it happened with me when i bought the samsung i550w. .i didn't like that phone. . sound quality is poor, trackball is disgusting!!
plz gimme your advice. .

i got this phone few days back, honestly overall of this phone is kinda awesome BUT however there is some defect here, the first one will be the volume of the conversation will go up and down, sometime even soft until can hear what the other party are saying. And this is VERY VERY ANNOYING. So anyone know how to FIX THIS PROBLEM?
For someone who interested or planning to get this phone, pls do consider this matter before buy it.....
