should i go for n82 or 5800 xpressmusic? 5800 xpressmusic is so cool but before i was using n-series. please leave some comments for both

Yeaaa..!! I finally bought this phone..!!
I can't wait for gsmarena review anymore..!!
My advice to all of you, YOU MUST BUY THIS PHONE..!!
The speaker is awesome, i think this is the loudest phone i ever had..!! (which is many)
The camera is sharp for 3.2mpx, the flash working great..!!
The internet are very fast, 3.6 Mbps..!!
But, it depends on your local provider, if you had a great provider, than your internet connection will be very fast..!!
The operating system is new, very refreshing, good design, easy to use and FAST..!!
The touchscreen are working very great and fast respond, very impressive..!!
For text messaging, I'm impress cause at first I don't think this phone will be comfortable enough for text-ing BUT after try it, i realize that i was wrong..!! It's so comfortable for text-ing, you can write it using handwriting recognition, usual keypad, and full screen qwerty keyboard, or the mini one..!! I like full screen qwerty keyboard the best..!! and yet the best feature is everytime you press the screen, icon or keypad number, there will be a small vibration that'll let you know that you touch it correctly.
and it came with 8GB memory, that means you don't need to buy memory anymore at least 8GB is not big enough for you..!!

Hi Transformer, I wanted to buy this phone(Malaysia). I wonder whether it can works well with Garmin Mobile XT GPS which I use now on my N77? Can the Garmin GPS be screen touch?? Thanks for your advice.

is it worth to buy?
is the camera, sounds, speed really poorer than the n-series? i read a lot of this complaints.
do you feel touch screen phone is more easier to get problems? (sorry, my language is not that good)

hi, i am facing a problem in this fone. Without much usage it shows memory full. Then I have to restart it again. Has anyone feel the same and what can be done for rectification? thanks in advance.

This is my second day I em using my new nokia 5800 with 02 Hungarian code, that means it's Hungarian made, and I want to say that, even I have symbian phone before this set, because of this new GUI at start I was confuzed a bit, but it did not take much time to get use to it..., well it's best from the rest for sure, even there have to be some small fixes in software, but that will com later!
The first day I have use it intensive in internet about 4h and music all day long, browsing is fine and fast, I use Wi-Fi and I em surprised that this nokia have stronger signal Wi-Fi radio than my laptop Wi-Fi a/b/c/d/g+...!
It is normal that in evening I have to recharge the phone because I was using all day music, videos,camera and internet.
There is not much games for this model at this time, but anyway i don't play, and if anyone looking for phone to play games than go for N-series!
Camera is god, grate pics and videos for everyday use, and if I want better I'll go for canon 12MPs!
I use bulbs in ear, not the ones nokia supplies with handset, and the music is much better than with my laptop, it's loud, full bass and possibilities to edit with equalizer, i was bouncing all day music!
I will make a special comment in here for this jealous guys who often calling this marvelous phone "made with cheap plastic"!!??
Every phone today have it's part made of plastics, no one is complete in steel or gold!
This phone is made with hardened plastic cowers and it is beautiful and is luxury thing for low price, and I wonder wot cling on nokia company, to let it happen to let it go for that low price, an make nokia users very happy with it!

i have a n73 and i take a lot of pics from my phone
if i sell my n73 and buy 5800, Is the pic resolution better than n73 or should i still keep my n73
i also have a n81 8gb which i use it for my regular work.

Hi guys! About the ear piece volume of the phone going up and down while in a call, it is only a minor hardware problem that can be fixed in less than 5 min, so no need to worry. You can either bring it to Nokia care centers or you can even do the fix by yourself. Here's the link to the procedure so you can fix it on your own, you can find it on the middle part of the page. By the way, this link was already posted here b4. Anyways, it's also a nice site for 5800 users. I hope this helps you guys.

I posted a couple of days ago on the 5800 and the same problems I had to have resolved, reading recent posts, seems to occur on a number of the devices. Since I have had the software update the phone rocks the camera is on par with any N series the music player is fantastic and the UI is simply better than an iphone. Believe me Nokia have got it right and beware of bogus posts.

on my visit to nokia care repair shop recently i saw customer lined up and many having 5800 in their hands some had display problem some had volumne issues...to which i think tht the phone is not made upto the quality in india and we should avoid spending time at nokia care for repair...nokia should release an update too qucikly to fix such issues....
