on my visit to nokia care repair shop recently i saw customer lined up and many having 5800 in their hands some had display problem some had volumne issues...to which i think tht the phone is not made upto the quality in india and we should avoid spending time at nokia care for repair...nokia should release an update too qucikly to fix such issues....

The youtube videos r playing very well except the blur in the video the speed of play back is good. any ideas to improve the clarity.

Hai all. i m from Malaysia. my country just launch nokia 5800. i have it about 4 dasy now. just love it!.B 4 5800 I m using Nokia 95 8gb. to compare, 5800 better. Screen bigger; 95 2.8 inches, 5800 3.2 inches with friendly touch. good 4 brows web.n vs audio sound 50-50. 95 8gb ear hp better. but 5800 speaker win. what 95 8gb can do.so is 5800!. n price 2 time cheaper than nokia 95 8gb. my 1st smart phone is nokia 6600 after that 6230,n70,sony ericsson i900,nokia 95 8gb. Now nokia 5800.. Trust me 5800 best hp ever!!.. good job Nokia!

i bought this phn on jan 3rd frm priority.within ... morei had the same problem too its a problem wit the speaker in the headset i suggest you take it to nokia service center or to the dealer or store u bought it from

Yep, you are indeed exclusive user because of 8 thousand more you spent, ha ha ha and you change handsets within 3 months of purchase every time :o)
My point is "Made by Nokia" are Chinese and we get all those from Nokia Priority. If all those sets were crap, Nokia would have stopped selling handsets other than Finland, Hungary... don't you think.
Moreover, Nokia 5800XM has a new operating system which needs more polishing on the long run and people are getting different firmware versions at the moment. Therefore, we need to find the actual reason behind the glitches and bugs of the phone at this moment.
I am still waiting for my "Chinese Crap" from Nokia Priority but surely am happy about your successful purchase with exclusivity.

You can also adjust the music output from the settings and equalizer. The reason the price is dropping is because it is already out in the market and the real cost is around $350-410.

bought my nokia a week ago so far its working well. camera and video not so nice and clear compared with n73,picture quality is grainy ( should have not advertised as carl zeiss as it does look like one ). sound is great esp. if you are using headphones other than what nokia provided, touch response is nice. For entertainment, go for this phone.

i have this phone for over a week the only problem is the headset speaker which can be repaired by any local mobile repairer . rest the phone is amazing its one of the best interface and it has a lot of input options also. s60 symbian rocks . also you can download free softwares from www.imserba.com

i bought this phn on jan 3rd frm priority.within three days i got problem during coversation,ie volume getting up n down.second whn tried with themes phn is getting slow down.third cam is very poor whn compared to N73.bit satisfied with music and video only.
can any one solve my 1st problem.
will b highly grateful with your reply.
any 1 planning 2 buy this phn.wait dont go 4 this.go 4 APPLE iphone.u will b highly satisfied n wont think 4 the next phn in future.u will just think abt the firmware update.thts it

hey i bought this phone about 15 days back..n i have to say dat m pretty pleased with its performance..however lately i encountered a problem..everytime i unlock my phone the brightness decreases even though in the settings brightness is at maximum!!..could anyone help me with this problem??..do i need a firmware upgrade or anythin??

i sold my n79 for it! but please please please buy the hungarian one!
the phone is awesome!the only thing i miss from n79 is that it doesn't have fm transmiter nad 5mpx camera(both of them i hardly use!)
if it's ur first touch screen then u might need some time to getting used to,and there are very few downloadable program out there bcoz the os is quite new!
but dont worry every thing is gonna b allright after a few weeks when 3 party softwares would be hitting us like swarm of bees!
another thing it doesnt have any office functions,nor pdf reader no zip but the first two can be downloaded from the download foder of nokia! but i stilol cant find the zip manager!
