someday back an issue came up that this phone can't copy paste stuff!
but yes it can! when u r writing select the text by tapping and then dragging upto desired length! and then tap the three horizonatal bar button under the tick mrk button in green
and then voala there is the copy paste option! there is ven cut option which was not there in previous symbian series 60 phones!
and after copy or cutting anything u want to paste it then just select the tree horizonatal sign button and tap paste! taht's it!
okia couldn't have made this phone simpler!

zaheed, 14 Jan 2009no i dont think that it can be used to take photos! because... moreis that so? but it is still a great phone, right? i'm planning to buy one next week, so can you guarantee that it is really good? just to assure myself also, thanks...

the video is awesome!
and the phone is the furthest from being slow!maybe not iphone first but it comes very close to beat it!touch screen is really responsive and gr8 looking!

Hi,
I am hearing a lot of mixed comments on this phone. I wanna buy it but before buying so I wanna know 3 things ...
1. Is the music quailty like the other Xpress Series? Loud & clear or normal?
2. Is the camera clarity like the N73s?
3. Is the touch screen thing alright as many posts said that the phone is slow & reaction time when you select on an option is slow.
Would be very grateful if you guys can let me know.

nit, 14 Jan 2009i have a question after closing the web it says view interr... morei think u might have started downloading something and then it stopped for some reason and when u exit the browser it will show u that!if u want to download that then see it and resume the download but if u dont wan2 then select no!
this thing even happens when a server is sending a cookie to ur handset and u eit the browser in the middle of transfer.
well this feature is a common thing in all new nseries(example my n79 used to do it!)!

I got this info from a Nokia Employee who worked in development of 5800.
The 5800 is made in China and Hungary as of now.
You should have got one of these.

tristan, 14 Jan 2009please. anybody can answer my inquiry regarding the seconda... moreno i dont think that it can be used to take photos! because i have tried but there is no option for using secondary camera(unlike nseries)!
but it can be used for video call!

so Bangladehi buyers who think that i was duped please stop doing that and if u want to buy a good set then go for the Hungary one!the cinese one is making a lot of havoc!(btw there is no Finland version of the set!)

Bangladesh, 13 Jan 2009I went Bashundhara City at Nokia Concept shop two days ago,... morewell i have checked the imei! and registerd it in net! it was made to sell in the dubai region! its totally made in hungary ffor sure and it comes with one year international warranty and a one year locl one provided by the shop!

hi every one i got my nokia 5800 1 week back still it look good,starting i get problem of volume of receving call it get up and down i went nokia care they told we have formate our memory card wat they loaded and given,after formatting it looks good..sound is good as n73..touch is good..we cant compare to like apple touch.batery looks good if u use internet browsing it get drain quikly,but for music it comes near 2 day..screen is good...its worty for money u can go for it...

Camera wise it cant beat the old star like N95 but music is a blast and maybe your 5800 facing problem but not mine. Music and screen wise, 5800 beats all nseries well maybe the sound through headphone is debatable with N91
