I bought this fone around 2 weeks back, its very slow, after 3 dayz i coudnt hear the other person callin, the voice is very disturb.
the touchscreen doesnt work properly
not worth buyin
more over its a nokio made in china
not a genuine model

NOKIA 5800 is a music oriented phone,whereas n85 is camera centric phone.i used n85,now i am using 5800 which is lot faster than n85.sound quality wise 5800 wins but dont expect more about camera,image quality is not upto mark.I hope it will solve by next update.overall a very good phone by nokia. cheers...

I have my own doubts. The dealer is still calling me offering the headphones free for a price of 21800. but outside nokia priority, they are selling 5800 for 19500 with same warranty. please advice.

i got mine 2day with the latest software version.. n i must say it is simply amazing.. no hang problems, no voice clarity problems, no other problem yet.. n hopefully not even in the future.. recommended to evry person whoz plannin to buy a new phone

I hope with a firmware update the camera would improve. Cause the photo quality is so awful. I doubt it, if it was carl zeiss optics.

Hi Everybody !!!
I am using 5800-XM since last few days.....
-> Its beautiful.
-> Built quality is Ok..( It doesnt feel like cheapo plastick..as I though earlier.)
-> screen is sexy...It will not allow you to take your eye's off it.
-> Call quality is Good...need not be mentioned.
-> Playing Games using touch-screen is not that enjoyable experience...May be I am not used to it as yet.
-> Sound Quality is Nice....but not superb...which is expected as its a Music oriented phone.
-> Watching video is a pleasure on this device.
-> Text-ing is convenient as well.
There is still lot be explored...as its spec well is so deep...
GO FOR IT. !!!

A Problem, 05 Jan 2009Guys, I bought that phone yesterday but I'm having a seriou... morethis is not normal. most legitimate stores have something called a DOA period. Dead On Arrival
for a nokia its 30 days. so bring it back and they should be able to swap it over on the spot with a new one
