sam11, 26 Dec 2008to craig, i would like to ask if this fone relly does no... moreTo Sam11, It is true, you can not use the secondary (front video camera) camera to take pictures from. I tested this out for you and does not allow you to select the secondary camera to take pictures from. It doesn't really bother me though as I wouldn't use this camera for that purpose. It's made for the video calling function. Cheers Craig

people are really satisfied with their 5800 even it's not a N-series touch phone... i should purchase this amazing phone...

Just had an exprience with the demo version from nokia. Its kool...n worth the buy..
SO pre-ordered one by paying a down payment of 2k (price of 20,500) along with the free headset at Kolkata.

The nokia 5800 is a great mobile phone compaired to othere mobile phones like the n96. It many features like touch screen, gps, wi fi, 3.2 inch screen, etc. The bottom line: a great mobile for agood price. I wrote this review from my nokia 5800 using handwriting recognition and it's great. I really recomend this mobile.

It has plenty of applications, games, themes for 5800. Currently the site is down due to unknown reason. Original site is in spanish so make sure to translate it in english. So far i haven't found any better site than this for 5800.

I'm using a samsung Tocco now but does not get on well with it and although it's wondeful, may sell it.
I'm torn between n85 and this beauty.Is it that "big"? Is the tactile screen any better than Tocco?

Go to allaboutsymbian.com, you will find detailed changelog there in 3 or 4th post. The only bug that may cause concern is speaker volume going low during calls. I don't care about few dead pixels here and there. Otherwise it's superb phone.

please do search before asking... already it is available.The link is provided ...just type http in the search option and you will get the link posted by me. A no of softwares and applcations are coming up in future. Just search in this forum where you get two new themes for 5800.

goodthing you got the piece for only 19700/-. Do test all the applications in it and let us know if any problem.

Just go to the NOKIA Care dealer and exchange it with a fresh piece. Dont forget to take your bill / invoice. They are very good in After sales.Tell your problem and write a mail to them stating your problem. You will get a reply , and mention your purchase details.

Yes , you can You can download and update the versions either thru their website or from your nearest dealer. Be sure about after sales service. Nokia is the best in after sales service.They dont charge under warranty period. All the best.

I just got the 5800 and is damn good....the only problem im facing is the additional softwares...anyone has any websites for free download or cracked versions? Since this phone is running on Symbian OS v9.4, is kinda hard to find any software which is compatible to it. Please post the website if you guys have any to share around.
