I have no problems with the volume on my mobile. It has always worked the way it should. I've had no problems at all with my handset but if I do, I'll be the first to advise on here ;-)

saw ads on today's news papers. well, it will be less than 23k if preordered. thatis about 330USD. much cheaper than i thought. and an offer for 1st 100 buyers: BH-604 Handset sounds good too. plus there will be 5 grand prizes for the pre order makers - bose home theaters. nokia rockz.

I am frm Mumbai,
i just confirmed the price of this fone in manish market(classic shop. 41), its Rs.19,000 with bill and warranty.
So i am confused whether i should be buying from here or from nokia priority for Rs. 21,800
Any help will be highly appreciated

Are you sure they said 19900 ? ok. Then lee me go now and find out here in chennai.Dont pay any extra for headphone...cause the one which comes in box pack is more than enough.It is more than sufficient instead you can bargain for car charger, or blutooth headset....etc.

No my friend, its that price. cause its mrp is 21839/- in our country. if Nokia priority dealer is giving at 21500/- just grab it. they are giving from their dealer margin which they get from Nokia. Thats fine.
Phone is superb and you wont regret. One thing we know that we can not get all the app and features in one fone.
So just we have to use and buy according to your usability.
Nokia is targeting all types of market. This fone can be used by young people, college students...like me who are purely professoinals.
The very best thing about s60 is ,it is now owned by NOKIA and they encourage developers to try out new applications on that platform.

My request to all , if anybody is trying out s60 3rd applications ...in 5800...then let us know ....so that all can use it without breaking heads.

I am impressed to see this Xpress music mobile. Though, this music station is not found in Bangladesh yet. But that’s for sure I will purchase one when available..!

Im in Jaipur and the nokia ppl called up for prebooking. its for 19990 here. to book ive to pay 2k upfront. i will be doing that today cos i cant wait until last week of jan. the thing is, some ppl from other cities are quoting price at 21800, which is weird cos two nokia centers here in jaipur contacted me with a price of 19990 and pay 650 extra to own the headphones worth 3k.

its made of plastic but strong my mob fell down 3 times nothing happened, but one of my friends iphone fell once and the glass broke.....

desidude, 25 Dec 2008i am not sure....but 1000 % sure. because i booked it throu... moreas such i dont have any problem in sound but if u use 3d option then it will effect even hearing the call.off the 3d mode and then use ...i hope it will solve the problem.
its almost a week i am using the device and this is the third time i am charging it may be because i m using it too much but bettery time is not that they mention in the specifacition even in the catalouge it is different then they posted in nokia and others site...neverthless the device is cool and i m enjoying it .

Nokia 5800. I have to say . Its a brilliant phone at least it has the new os s60 5th. Guys dont be so impatient. Just wait a few weeks and see hundreds of applications run for its new powerful and flexible os .at least this beauty is far cheaper and lighter than the x1which its camera stills are very bad.5800 is light and flexible and can run many old java and sis apps. Keyboard is great. The display is crisp and plays hi quality videos full screen seamlessly. Speaker audio quality is super and bass rich and headphone sound is not very good but handles the job for rock music. For the internet its fast. Battery life lasts about 2 or 3 days by changing some settings like disabling the sensors and dimming screen lighting. Sound level is a little bit deep when calling but it can be fixed in the fourthcoming software updates. Ill be happy to answer ur questions.

One more thing, in other retailer the fone will be coming last week of Jan 2009.
Nokia is preloading around 200 music in it including A R Rehman exclusive songs for 5800. You will have variety of songs including classical, rock, po, vocal etc.
i will be posting a detailed note on my experience after getting it. Expected to get it by this month end.

Do you have any problems in ringing volumes.Please clarify.
And others who are already owning , please keep posting the problems / defects so that we all can take up those with NOKIA.

hi all... i want a very very very vbery high speed nokia phone.. i was a user of nokia phone but now i use SE phones.but now i want again buy a nokia phone.. no one in the world is perfect, evey thing has qualties and defect so i do not make any bad comment about any mobile company.... now i am waiting the future nokia phone, very very very high speed phone very high i want nokia need 4 speed. make touch screen mobile upto 600 or 700 MHz CPU or more highier....... plzzzzz NOKIA........
