almost all the electronic is MADE IN CHINA
you can choose to buy product that MADE IN ENGLAND, if you think the quality worst because of MADE IN CHINA
don't use your laptop,computer,ps, air-cond , plasma , dvd-player cause many of them is MADE IN CHINA
maybe idio.t people donno MADE IN CHINA can save a lot of cost

hi. I've also sen gsm arena review before buyng ny cel phne bt i'm very disappointed ths time. I'm lookng forward to get 5800 so plz gsm arena give us a review a.s.a.p. And i hav a question plz kindly answer. Is the price of 5800 ever gonna come to 279£ as stated by Nokia or not? And if it wil come down then ...... When? Thanks in advance

Anyone in the UK waiting for this phone, I called Nokia today and they said it will be available for pre-order before Xmas (sometime in the next week) for a delivery in January. When I asked how much it was likely to be, the operator said 'around £350'. I then asked why, at the London (and Singapore) official announcements, Nokia said it would be €279 -the guy froze up, seemed to get out of his comfort zone and said he couldn't comment, but just to 'wait and see'. Hmmm...
Any which way I'll shall be placing my pre-order next week, but I can't help thinking the price announcement was just a blatant lie by Nokia in order to generate extra publicity.

erm... i from Malaysia n tis phone will b available in Malaysia in nxt month. i heard the price is quite cheap as in RM1500 to RM1700 only.it is quite worth to buy tis phone but is depend on the user whether the function is useful anot.

If u observe , GSMarena spends almost a fixed amount on the reviews of phones.
since, they spent for INNOV8 and TOUCH HD in these 30-40 days period , they would have ran out of money to put hands on the popular 5800 .
I hope they will not review Xperia, if they do they will not review other phones for the next two months !

alex, 17 Dec 2008this is a very fakeeeeeeeeeee fone pls dont buy it sonye... morei don´t know about w980, but my brother has g900 which uses a newer version of viq, same processor, and it´s really damn slow! it´s for a reason that sonyericsson pulled out from the viq segment!

Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970i´d go definitly for 5800,, it´s almost half the price, UI much faster, better audio quality,, xpreia maybe with better build-quality, has a keyboard, screen slightly higher in reslution,has many apps out already,, but expria is so slow as many have stated, coz the OS uses most of the ram , so shifting from an app to another would take up to 20 seconds some times,, so unless they figure out something for that, expria is not worth it´s money,,,
