Very nice phone and it work's great. The only two things that don't, are GPS (if you use it alone in a car for example) and WIFI. I had a notebook detecting 6 networks connected to one of them, and in my cel could see just 1 even refreshing several times.

One thing is for sure, android phones are much better than symbian phones...

i hav used dis phone for 1.5 years, i started having problems wid dis phone after 1 year.
Problems like
1.restarting d phone atleast 3 times a day.
2.formatting d memory card many times since it does not show pics,videos,music and apps.
3.camera quality sucks in night, but best in daylight.
4.(h.264) videos cannot be played.
Thinking of buying an android phone now.....

I use the phone for 2 years and the phone is awsome but it has some bad things 4 example everything when I want 2 install some program or whatever its 4 instaling it goes to phone mem not on the mem card,can anybody tell me where I can fix that or its factory thing.it eats my phone mem and its slows my phone very very much :S can anybody help me please

I'm using the Nokia 5800 for two years now and the memory card just gave in a month ago just before my cell c upgrade. All my photo's music..etc were lost...I was told I have to replace my memory card...and I use to have ghost file on my phone that couldn't be delete from my photo file. anyway it was a great phone for 1 year and 11 months.

best phone i ever use but have only 1 problem its lock n unlock button,its make me feel sad,cuz its my fav handset

Have been using this phone since 1 year now, got lags and problems with lock key etc.
Time to switch to a real smartphone now.
Looking for a HTC Sensation. Would be a huge jump budget wise but worth it.. I guess I have saved a lot for this one :)

Nokia 5800 XM is nice and have very good battery life ,but can't play Divx/Xvid videos.

5800 is restaring many time in a day and the phone is heating without any reason,other ways its good.

camera is not really bad as many said.. if you want to produce wickedly good photos, follow these settings:
1.Edit your user defined
2. Scene mode: automatic or Night portrait
3.white balance: sunny
4.Exposure Compensation: 0.7
5. Contrast: up two levels..
