i have a question? i own N70 the thing i dont like about it is the wallpaper. I u put a wallpaper, it does not cover the screen completely, battery and signal display top part is left blank. Is this the same case with 5800?

Hi All,
There's so many mixed emotions about this phone. One person says the touch screen is sensitive, another says it's really slow.
I did the wrong thing by reading a lot of peoples feed back and went out and bought the Samsung Omnia, and I regretted it from the day I bought it. The touch scren was absolutly crap and everyone hyped the model up. It was a let down and it was sold 2 weeks later cause I hated it.
Now I've decided to use that money I made and buy myself the Nokia 5800 because I love Nokia and I've had a heap of there past releases and never had a single issue with them. On youtube theres this guy who has about a 25 minute review showing you the Nokia 5800 and when he touches the screen its very responsive, almost like the iphone and a hell of a lot better then the Samsung Omnia touch. Maybe you all should watch the youtube clips and make your decision on that if you actually haven't played with one yourself yet.
I bought a Nokia 5800 today and just waiting for it to be delivered in the next few days. I'll put a little review on here without being judgemental on it, but what I think of it.
As for price, anything that is released thats recent, your always going to expect to pay way more then it's real worth, if yoiu have patience, then wait for the price to drop, if you have the money and price isn't an issue, then buy it but if you want it, just get it.

Nokia 5800Xpress Music is fantastic. it has all the functions aas other mobiles. Also at less price.

hi all! i have bought a nokia n76 about a year ago and i want to change it (although is very good) i dont know what to pick: iphone, iphone 3g or nokia 5800 xpress music, could you plz help me? or do you think that i should stick with what ive got (N76)?

just bought this phone 3 days ago. i am in shanghai and the phone is from HK. this phone was not released in china and i bought it for $3300RMB. which is equal to $480 USD.
Speaker is superb, and touch screen is very responsive, unlike wat others says. it would be ALOT easier to navigate the touch screen with a little finger nail opposed to just finger tip. the symbian touch interface is responsive and no crashes...yet.
overall the phone works very well and the gotta-have-it factory stayed even after i bought the phone. however built quality can be alittle better. phone size is just right and not too heavy. i can easily fit in my pocket.
i would recommend this phone to everyone. it is not an iphone killer but it is definetely something else. my immediate previous phone was the iphone and all i can say is both phone has its pro's and con's. with a few more days of using, i definetely can see myself cruising this phone just as fluid as the iphone can.

Why all Symbian OS cant change default ringtone for unkno... moreYes it can very well, you have to add in contact list the name "unknown caller" and no phone number or just put a "0" or "unknown caller id" then assign the ringing tone for it!
That's easy to fix the symbians, how about this WinMo secret apps is running in the background and connecting time after time on internet, are they spyware or wot, specially when you week up in morning and all your prepaid call voucher is goon!
Does iphone connects to internet itself to?
Wheel symbians does not this things, only if you install junk explicit java apps your self and if you let running in the background!

Listen people, Honestly I'm not a nokia fan.
But I have to admit that the quality of their camera's is great.
So stop saying "it's only 3.15MP".
Because thats just the size of the image not the quality!!!!!!!!!
And I'm 100% sure that non of you will go home and print posters out using photos from ur phone.
So please don't say stupid things.
Does anyone know when this phone will be released in Malaysia????At what price??

the only good thing about this phone is the screen size and touch screen function. besides that, it is the same like other phones. the camera is only 3.15mp too!!!!!
