The Nokia store in NYC actually had this phone, but not on display. They let me see it, although I could not turn it on and try using it.
I have to say, this phone is very plastiky and feels very cheap. It is also very bulky. The design is not good at all.

Dear all,
GSM Areana mentioned that 5800 will come in 3 colours (blue, red & black) but there are only 2 colours (blue & red) in Nokia website, wondering if there is really a black colour? Anyone out there can help me with my enquires? Thanks in advance!

This looks like a perfect fone for a nokia person who wants just about right stuff in his fone wic is touch screen....iam sure people frm n95 will switch to 5800 even thou it has 3.2 mega camera...wic i think is quiet good... the fone looks amazing the batter wic is very impt part of every mobile is excellent . iam surely gng for this fone wen lauched....take care everyone

King Kong, 22 Oct 2008But it is useful to have a lot more than 3 mpix if you want... morethats when otical zoom comes in my friend. digital zoom will always decrease the picture quality. if the 5800's camera suck, its not the resolution to be blamed its other aspects that make up the camera. but dont listen to me i just love to chat pure nonsense on the internet.
