Great phone for the price, but i still want 5Mpx and better video than this can do. I like functions and looks of N79 better.

Many of u have never seen a resolution higher than 3 megapixel in your lives. yes thats right. check the resolution of your monitor and thats the most you have ever seen. i bet its not higher than 3 megapixel. when u look at a 10 megapixel photo u are actually seeing the image in the resolution of the display. trust me i know these things. I have a PENTAX Otio A20, which is a 10 mp digital camera and i totally wasted my money buying it. if u edit the image & decrease the resolution to 2 megapixel. u will never see a difference. never. but if u decrease it to vga resolution u will see that difference, because it is less than the resolution of your display. u get it? its not resolution alone that makes an image look good. the lens and color tones and sensors and white balance and sharpness and autofocus and macromode has their part to play. ok. the reason for the increase in resolution is to capture more details in an image but read the first sentence i wrote one more time. cheers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I could not aggree more! I just had to copy and paste what u wrote.
why? do you need to use the camera everyday? will you be buying the phone because of its camera only? my gosh, the fun has loads of great features and all you whine about is the camera being 3.2mp? it carl zeiss for pete's sake. megapixel pertains to picture size not picture quality. get a phone with 8mp and i'll give you a shot taken from a 4.0mp digital camera, let's see the different..
why are so many people so particular with camera? this is a phone not a digital cam. it is not made to accommodate lens that whould produce great pics. when iphone had a crappy camera, did anyone whined?
when you look for something that is isnt on the phone, ensure that you know what you are talking about. do your research please. it seems you're not into photography coz you dont know what megapixels are for.

The 5800 supports java? cool i will research on that!

Brilliant phone cant wait to get my hands on one. Iphone 3g whats that. N95 been good to me and looking forward to this being better. Nokia very user friendly and even more friendly when it comes to 3rd party applications

I would of say this phone no real since not release any where in world. But this phone was promoted in "Dark Night" and in new Britney Spears "Womanizer". Have you guys seen it?

and i have googled out thdt in india it releases mid november!for 19,999 rs.if release dates in bangladesh reches more than december than i wil visit india and bring this awesome phone!could hav brought from malaysia but no relese dates r announced! i think india will get this marvelous piece the first in south asia!
this set rocks! have watched all the videos;googled all the news,memorised all the reviews and spec sheets!just cant wait tyo finally have this in my hand!
o and by the way it has been released in russia.russian site mobile-review.com has a full review of it so go there and read this phones awesome review!

true value for money when we consider the features .
what remains to be seen is the speed of the phone . Will
this resolution can be handled by the processor . The RAM and ROM are limited . I am eager to use it !

Onslow, 21 Oct 2008At last someone who appreciate's what the product is people... moreThanks Onslow... i've had enough of everybody whining about this phone. they just cannot admit to themselves that this is a great phone with a very, very attractive price tag.
i can go on and on defending each feature that somehow feels shortchanged. this phone is NOT made to be THE perfect phone, no phone is. just be happy that Nokia created a jack-of-all-trades phone and not charge us our kidneys for it.
