Don't compare this phone to the iphone which is far more expensive. Wait for the next Nserie whith touch screen, hopefully in december. I guess Nokia is just testing the market and their own technology with this phone before releasing a bunch of high spec touch screen phones. Obviously every phone will be touch screen in the near future.

Even Im SE fan, but I consider this phone as a smart collection of all today market needs (like touchscreen, musicbox, good resolution, nice minimalistic design, full connectivity, ...), in a much accessible price group. In my opinion the best thing for NOKIA on this phone is the BATTERY! Congrat's! Maybe my next phone, if it arrives before christmass!

Hope the touch screen is not plastic like P series of SE. Hope it's sapphire crystal screen. If it's plastic, it's out in my list.

Stop comparing this and that try focusing on quite a new plateform that too upgraded by fp1 and newer versions are quite unstable initially till fp 2 atleast

Anonymous, 18 Oct 2008Does it have screen toutch stick ?? I went to youtube and ... moreIt does have stylus. You can use it's stylus, or plectrum located in the wrist strap. Also i found out that you can also type sms on a normal alphanumeric keypad interface as usual.

can anyone tell me which nokia model will be better for me on the basis of full phase net surfing as i do in my pc (e.g. youtube site) and on the basis of battery life. my preferance is e66 & 5800. what would be the market price of 5800?

no it wont be hard typing while driving either it has the option of a regular mobile input method along with the options of using the querty keyboard. Nokia has used their brains while making this phone and has easily cum out with their best peice yet

it's gonna be hard to text while driving on this phone. and all other touch screen phones without a keyboard for that matter.

i bought this phone as proto type , any one has the software cus the phone switching off by it self .
