This seems to be good but my question is on its sound quality with headphones. Anybody have any comment on this?

I have been readin 2ru opinions of loads of people on dis page.Quite a number are 'haters',som are torn between this n that. I direct my opinion to those who do not give appropriate credit to Nokia. THIS IS NOT NOKIA'S FIRST TOUCH SCREEN PHONE.Way back,Nokia released the 7710,I had one,it didnt hav the light touch effect som of you desire.The only plus was the large screen.Softwares were hard to find as well,cos of the screen size.So,Verily verily I say unto you-Get this phone.It will be worth it.

and guys if u really want to compare 5800 with the iphone plz compare it as gsmarena provides u with the option of comparing the two phones u will see that 5800 is the clear winner

hmm those who love it will buy it. dont comare this to the i phone the iphone lacs a lots of features 3.2 mp cam, flash, GPS, video recording, tv out, and of course bluetooth and moreover iphone cums for almost twice the price. the only feature that iphone has better is multitouch and i dont think that except zooming it has any other function so oversll i give my thumbs up to the 5800

I've been using an N95-3 for 9 months now. It's hacked and I have tons of apps installed. I've been waiting for a touch Nokia for soo long. Anybody know when a touch N-Series will be available. I don't think it's worth buying the 5800 since my N95 has better specs aside from touch screen.

It support all software of its previous operating system(symbian s60 v3 and v2), because symbian s60v5 contains backward compatibility

this phone is supposed to have a resistive touch screen..i've a HP tablet notebook with a similar screen and its quite a pain to operate coz u need a certain amount of pressure to use it. but the iphone has a capacitive touch screen making the experiance much more pleasant..anyone kno if the 5800 has a good touch experiance coz the video reviews also show the person pressing real hard on the screen..will it be good enough coz i plan to get one

yes it does... it supports apps .. and i've seen Animsprite [Chinese Version] and Screenshot working on it!! How about that?

Many applications that open may not work properly due to the touchscreen nature of the 5800xm. The stereo speakers are the loudest ever produced by nokia. Nothìng beats them.
