I like this phone a lot, fully loaded with features, and I am a big fan of touch screens, so perfect as far as I am concerned. And to a guy below saying that its a mid range phone, if the camera was 5mp he would have been sayin that this is an extremely high end phone and blah blah. Yea i know what high-end phones have, i own one right now, N82.

Does it support installation of 3rd party appz..
Like in OS 9.1/2/3... Are the appz available as of yet??

BADBOY, 17 Oct 2008I think this is one of the best nokia phones...i wish to ha... moreNoika 5320 & the latest nokia 5800 are made of sme audio chipset . So if u expect that u will get better sound quality in this latest touch phone of nokia , then u r wrong . The sound quality is the same .
So music lovers wht u would spend 580$ after nokia 5800 , where u can get Nokia 5320(Which also supports N-gage gaming) at 230$ ? Its sterio speaker is so weak that it will not let you hear your call in a busy place .

As a result u will have to buy each & every new software that only Nokia releases for this model . Trust me on this fact that this Symbiab OS 9.4 Touch Edition doesn't support any softwares of its previous edition .
Use your brain people , Cause old softwares were not made for touchscreen phones , So how will they work on A new Symbian OS ???

i noticed that people here are complaining about the batery life of nokia phones. that's because they opened apps without noticing they forgot to 'exit' them. "multitasking", hello?

Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970You might have tried the prototype or your just lying your butt up. I have tried the proto myself from a good friend, and it works great, the camera works awesome, it can be compared to a Samsung innov8 in broad daylight, the video works great as well with 30fpm. The sound is impressive for the price and i like the comes with music notion. The touch interface is great, i like the haptics, I have an iphone but 5800 gives a different experience. The wifi is in auto search, not like what you have tried, and my friend works in Nokia. You cannot bring a good phone down with your biase comment. I am a Samsung Fan but I was impress with this phone and planning to get one as a Christmas Gift for myself.

But cost is the factor, this phone is to tap the market of iphone, the customers who were surprised by the iphone cost can go to this phone

Unbelievable!!! at last nokia has the touch screen phone!!! I am waiting for so long man!!! but regret that this phone only have 3.2mp. I wonder why not 5-8mp!!!! i cannot wait anymore..i have to buy a new phone now..

Hey, you should know one thing, this phone's screen is better then onima where u need to apply a little bit more force. and also onima is using WINDOW! boy, window is not user friendly and laggy even the devices comes with a high CPU.. and one more thing, LG touch screen device always need to apply force.. how can it be compare to this phone. and also, this phone is only 279 euro without plans. and megapixel doesn't means better picture quailty. onima using cheap lens and sensor. what u wana talk about?
AND RMB this, this phone is only the MID RANGE FIGHTER
you are comparing with the high range device..
and if samsung lg is better, WHY THEY ARE USING NOKIA Symbian S60 OS?!?! the world largest user OS is nokia's symbian s60.. kid, wise up please.
