I was waiting long time for Nokia touch screen phone, now is here.
Nokia is nickname for mobile phone!!!
They make people love phones.
I can't imagine that people buy iPhone or whatever without half options and looking like brick, i don't have such big pockets!

symbian os is only unstable for the 1st batch u haf to do regular software upgrades thru the net or the nokia care centre so that u dun experience the lagging or bugs...
Bear in mind dun condemn brands, theyt ahf their own pro and cons...and buying of electronics is a lucky draw thing...dun tell me out of 1000 phones in mass production all are faultless so ppl get real and mature...

do ppl even read on homepage..about nokia 5800...if you scroll down it says the phone is 279 euros...come on ppl...start thinking

this phone seems to have all the right features in all the right places... except for the processor... an ARM 11 369 MHz CPU... i mean seriously, why ruin a sweet phone like that!

before, i plan to buy a 5700 expressmusic because i really love to listen to songs...and 5700 said that it has 3D stereo speakers. but now, i switched my mind to this 5800 express music. it almost completed my expectations on a mobile phone...mp3, wifi, stereo speakers, what can i ask for...hope that someone has the idea of the price...

this phone cost in india rs 18000
i will wait for nseries touchscreen with 8 mp and xenon flash
becoz now i have my n82 which is good

MAGED, 04 Oct 2008its look like samsung omnia i saw the similarity also. haha. its just, the display of nokia is way better that samsung. held one in a Samsung store and the interface sucked me in. learning curve i guess since i am a nokia and se user. plus the display is disappointing. my nokia 6300 display is 'smoother' than that of omnia. why oh why.

Pe... moremy friend.. don't go ballistic on people not liking iphone.. there are a lot of things NOT to like about iPhone.. it is not perfect my friend. 3G,it depends on your service provider and 3G has been in the other 'lowly' phone before. bluetooth matters to people since then can easily exchange files upfront compared to iPhone having to do that using iTunes. to appreciate iPhone is to jailbreak it. in a country where SMS matters, the pesky predictive text is a downer.
so you see my friend. iPhone is not the best. overpriced and overrated.

Anonymous, 04 Oct 2008The only thing that this phone lacks is a 5mp camera with x... moreit is forgiveable for this phone to have 3.2mp only since this is a music phone. but let's appreciate that they made a great effort in placing a carl zeiss lens in a music phone. this is a VERY NICE ATTEMPT to provide an all-around phone. thanks for not short changing us this time Nokia.

Nokia 5800 XpressMusic will go on sale by the end of 2008 only in the following markets :
- India
- Taiwan
- Hong Kong
- Indonesia
- The UAE
- Spain
- Russia
Other markets (UK, North America, China, etc) that aren't included in the above list only be getting the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic in 2009 at the same time.
According to industry analysts, Nokia plans to sell about 10 million touchscreen handsets in 2009. But, I think is that this number won't be reached with the 5800 XpressMusic only.

Awesome phone! The text input options also looks amazing. My only complaint is the red lining. It seriously bugs me and makes it look cheap.

wow paksiw! i think this will be the phone im gonna buy. i have been waiting to buy a new phone but the phones that were previously released are either too expensive or have many problems. i think this phones gonna be nice.
