quite liked the handset when i first received it. however, about 7 months in it started to jam. sometimes it would turn itself off. removal & replacement of the battery was required to bring it back to life. then the screen started to go stripey which obviously meant it couldn't be read. it is now with my network provider for repair.
nokia has always been my phone of choice but now that they are struggling to keep up with OS technology their handsets are becoming more like the cheaper brands. the 5800 xpressmusic may well be my last nokia. shame.

5800 has a poor internal phone capacity!!!

Dears,
I purchased 5800 xpress. Please advice, how stop alarm snooz while key pad lock. I try to my best level to stop snoozing. But could not release thye key pad lock and could't stop the snoozing also. that will be autumatically stop after 30 miniuts. Please tell me any body got same experience and find the solution, please advice.

I think the 5800 its the most durable touch screen phone out there, it can withstand very rough conditions! Very happy with my 5800! : )

can any one tell me my sensor dont work when iam standing and turning off.while sitting it gets turn.means it rotate.is any one facing the same problem of sensor motion.

I've been using this phone for over a year. For the first month, its very good. After about 2.5 months, it spoiled for the first time. In total, this phone spoiled 3 times, now, after the warranty, it is lagging for the 4th time and i just experienced a total blackout yesterday. The 'comes wif music' is of no use, it causes the phone's m card to corrupt and often, u hv to re-type ur pw b4 u can listen to it. The touchscreen lags a'most everytime and when you're browsing the net, it will suddeny close ur window. Lousy phone -.-

amr, 03 Oct 2010its cpu speed is 192 mhz only not 434 mhz as written above ... moreThe cpu when working hard the speed is 434Mhz. When the system is at rest,it comes down to 192 Mhz ,.it's dynamic. However,the xplore app always shows 192 mhz,so dont trus that. Same happened to me,cheers! : )
