hi guys, hope u can help me.
I recently have a problem with my 5800 handset. When i connect the phone to the computer my comp cant find the phone when it is connected via pc suite but if a switch it to media transfer it gets connected to the comp. However when i open the file using ovi suite or nokia pc suite it gets disconnected again. this is the first time this happened. It was working well before.

Read the manual instead of asking it to us!
Tap the keypad image on the homescreen which is on the bottom left side.
enter the number by touching the desired button.
Then press the green button on the phone.

since i got my 5800, i thought that it was normal for it to have grainy pictures...but i compared it to my new nokia 5230...there is a very big difference...so maybe something is wrong with my camera...love both phones except the camera on the 5800...any advice...software already updated...

Hello guys
I am having a serious trouble with MUSIC PLAYER
"Some of my songs are not getting displayed in music library." But I can play the songs from File manager.
Please help me out and I tryed all ways i knew but no use

Setting the exposure to +2 does eliminate noise, but also over-exposes the whites (just like crowning!).
I think we should keep it to max. +1.

Guys,I have n81 and it got spoiled totaly so im looking to buy a new phone and this one was in considration and i was always a nokia guy u know,but this touch thing is making me confused so much between lots of phones i dont know anymore about this thing cause there are lots of other brands that are good also,so im thinking between the good nokia touchscreen phones and the samsung wave s8500?? please adv. thank you :)

what the HELL..I did a HARD RESET(buttons red+green+camera and restarted) also formatted the memory card(made a back up in computer though via ovi suite),as a brand new device with nothing installed except the firmware v51.0.006 and preinstalled stuff of firmware..guess what..still while using got white fade out,screen flickering and restarting issue...this is definitely a major bug

sadstories, 21 Aug 2010Im just wondering if you guys have any idea if I could make... moreif you have copied the tone in memory card,follow this;
go to application > file manager > select memory card > sound files > digital sounds > locate your tone or multiple files you want to transfer to another location > select options from lower left corner > then organize > select move to folder > memory card > sound files > tones > select OK,.now go back and and see your file where u put it.its in the 'Tones' folder next to 'digital files' folder in sound files in memory card.,you can move file to any location,if you forget where you put it,use search option in 'internet' folder from the main menu.. hope this helps

I bought this brand new.
I even bought a screen protector and every available accessories for this unit the next day I put on top of the chair because I was going in my room to change clothes, Then my aunt, who has the body size like yokozuna sat on the chair where I put my 5800.
Guess what?
It survived! Not even a single malfunction. This unit is torture tested! Kudos nokia! ^_^

... morehi, have u try to refresh the music library? go to music library choose option then choose refresh library.
