Pissibly the N9 should be much faster than n8 because it should be running with Meego and not Symbian. But this 1 has a symbian 2. Symbian 3 is faster than symbian 2.

Im just wondering if you guys have any idea if I could make a folder in the song list? You see I downloaded a messae tone and the problem is that since its all consolidated into the song files every time I play the songs the message tone is surely to play. I tried to make a playlist but when I erase it on the song folder the file is also deleted in the playlist. sorry but im just new to this 5800 it would be appreciated if you could give me tips on this. thanks

hello friends
i am really happy with your discussions.
i am having a serious trouble with my music player.
i am really sad that i found some of my songs are not getting displayed in music player. i tryed almost all possible ways that i know by renaming the file,changing its folder of existence etc but it is not displayed. i am able to play the song from file manager. and they are all standard mp3 files only. please help me out friends

pls dont update ur phone to v.51...it got one major bug and a great pain in the ass as well..whenever i opened my themes, it will flicker suddenly then restart,same goes when using opera and deleting contacts......i hope that nokia will fix this....sorry for the bad english...

Useful camera tip:
For better indoor snaps,go to camera and select show extended toolbar (3 horizontal lines),set the exposure to maximum (+2),sharpness to soft,and contrast to just 1 point below default(center),keep the flash automatic or on,and take the snapshots,it gives well noticed change to the quality(also have to set the image quality to 3M-large)..i have observed that the bad image quality from camera is not due to camera hardware but is most likely a firmware issue,because the shutter when shuts after a click the lens does not get proper exposure and pictures are shot in greenish hue and micro dotted,this settings i have told u greatly improves this.,i hope nokia will improve it and hue issue in next firmware update.

I am using this phone right now, lolol. No offence but this phone is shit. I also tried the n97, tooooo slow, lolol. Seriously as much as I love Nokia (since is classy, authentic, and reliable) Nokia phones are shit. Slow as hell and and defiantly not user friendly. Like if I gave my nokia for my parent, they will not know how to navigate it compare to Sony ericsson. My nokia 5800 will most likely be my last Nokia, or maybe the N9 is its not too expensive. But I'm done with Nokia and the symbian^3 is stupid. Slow........ Apple will prob. be my next choice or Samsung Ga. S. XD mwahahaha.

For those tired of the s60 interface u can search for "maemo on nokia 5800" on youtube and check it out for yourselves. And also I checked out a video where some guy managed to merge both maemo and symbian^3 on this device. yes i said it...symbian^3

Is sign in harms the phone from virus attack? and is it same like hacking. I think it is not good to sign in and hacking the mobile.
Please let me know the pros & cons of doing signin / hacking.
