ok guys.i have been using this phone for 13 months and here is my review and pls for those who want this phone,do read this:
At first ,u would say-WOOOOOOOOWWWWWW.what a handset.and this is actually true.this phone does have great features like music is awesome ,touchscreen is ok(not very good),gps is good,playing movies on it is good.
But thats about it.Camera on it is ,u can say,ok.not great at all,but not worst too.I knw its a 3 mp camera and the video recording is great only in day light.taking photos is ok .i mean the photo quality is ok only in sunlight.BUT IN THE AREAS OF LOW LIGHT-the camera is not good.but ofcourse u can set the night mode on -and with it the photos would be good,but then the video recording will be laggy,very laggy.so this phone is not for camera lovers.
Then comes the software part.Definitely there are tonnes of software out there.BUT.If u install many softwares,ur phone will be laggy .it will hang a lot.THIS PHONE WILL HANG LIKE HELL.Actually this is the problem with its 434 mhz processor.I installed flip font ,widgitizer.And my phone is like A BIG FAT LADY which doest want to move at all.i mean its very laggy.
BUT if u format it and if the phone is free from softwares then the os is ok and the phone will work fine.
NEXT,music-no problems ,fantastic.
TOUCH SCREEN-its ok.U wont be having any problems with it.
GPS-ITS perfect with v50.
VERDICT-Its a must buy for a music lover.
NOT FOR A CAMERA LOVER at all.
IN india,this phone costs RS.13,400.I had bought it for RS 16,600.I dont regret buying this phone .but yes,if samsung WAVE was released year ago,i would have definetly bought that phone.AND TO PEOPLE WHO WaNT to buy this phone,please add 3000-4000 rupees and buy WAVE.IT iS worth (believe me its really worth)the price.

5800 is very good phone but it lacks in many things like touch sensitivity,it should have UIQ symbion operating system,it should have like n73 flash,150 mb internal memory,4 inch touch pad.

I've used 5800 XM last year. It was my first smartphone. And to be honest, i got sick of it in a few months and changed to LG KM900 Arena.
This phone is only suitable for businessmen. (If you're not a businessmen, don't bother buying it) Its not that entertaining at all, in fact its actually quite boring. The games aren't that fun either.
& its a resistive touchscreen. So if you have long nails like me i don't think you'll have any problem with the touchscreen. If you don't have long nails though, good luck PRESSING the screen with your finger. But then again you can always use the touch stick behind the phone.
In conclusion, i don't recommend this phone to people who just finds it fascinating (trust me, you'll regret it) but if you're doing business or whatever though, go for it. (:

Hey thiru,phone browser always shows such problems.So,download opera mobile from m.opera.com or ucweb from wap.ucweb.com.My choice is opera.It's great and can open any type of site with great view.

i am using it for 1 month its really unbelievable device thnx nokia an in my country its sold for 110 euro not 190 euro thats really nice price

Hai all, i am not able to open some sites and nokia music. it comes as invalid server name.some times it opens and then it comes as enable your java script even though it is enabled. please help me frields
