undoubtedly the best mobil by nokia. But battery drain is the only problem. Needs 2 chargings per day. Very difficult when we r on a long travel in train or by bus. It gets switch'd off. Not good standby time too. But it is still fine in other aspects if we do not take battery into consideration

max, 14 Jul 2010is 5800's touchscreen responsive after 1-2 years??? guys... moremy opinion on the 5800 touchscreen is> be gentle on tapping it and it surely last long.

in fact there is no need to tap hard on it bcos its very responsive. we must understand 5800 comes with TFT resistive touchscreen not the capacitive touchscreen so we cant treat it like others model which comes with TFT capacitive touchscreen.

karthik, 14 Jul 2010what can i say about this mobile? There's no second thought... moreOver the time the batt become weak due to usage (wear n tear. its normal i believe.

i've heard that rechargeable battery can stand maybe up to 500 times of recharging.
so if anyone says that the batt need to be replace after 18months or so.. then its acceptable.

the most important thing is we dont have to replace our 5800 unnecessarily cos its a awesome phone. cheers...

what can i say about this mobile? There's no second thought in saying that this mobile is the best from nokia. But battery drain has become the biggest problem. Needs 2 recharge per day. Other than that i love this mobile.

Touch is as awesome as it was new. Only problem is the overuse of stylus makes it loose and it will fall often but thats not the software problem. Nokia frequently launches firmware updates for it still 2 years old. So it is a good choice

would like to know from "INDIAN" 5800XM users...if their handset still doing gr8 after using for a sufficient time?

is 5800's touchscreen responsive after 1-2 years???

guys, i have been reading about nokia 5800, c6(to b released in india), and x6

c6 already seems to have software issues...nt stable

x6 has a poor build...esp. its back...and also many other parts

so i think nokia 5800XM is still the best of all nokia (in its price range)

the only thing i need to know before i buy this fone is that would its touchscreen respond...a year or so?? as it doesnt hav keypad, n if touchscreen wont work properly...den it wud b a waste! :(

It will not overcharge, because the circuitry will not allow that, unless there's a problem with the charging circuit. Once it reaches it's full capacity, it should turn-off the charging current going into the battery...
