is 5800's touchscreen responsive after 1-2 years???
guys, i have been reading about nokia 5800, c6(to b released in india), and x6
c6 already seems to have software issues...nt stable
x6 has a poor build...esp. its back...and also many other parts
so i think nokia 5800XM is still the best of all nokia (in its price range)
the only thing i need to know before i buy this fone is that would its touchscreen respond...a year or so?? as it doesnt hav keypad, n if touchscreen wont work properly...den it wud b a waste! :(

azm, 13 Jul 2010hi guys need your opinion this battery drain issue... c... moreAccording to what I have read around the net, Li-ion battery doesn't like to be totally discharge before getting charge again, it shorten it's life span. It will not overcharge, because the circuitry will not allow that, unless there's a problem with the charging circuit. Once it reaches it's full capacity, it should turn-off the charging current going into the battery...

Well,i too have the battery life problem. I used to watch a lot of movies on this so i had to do about 2 complete charges per day. After about three months,the fully charged battery lasted 1 1/2 days with normal use. After upgrading to v50,it reduced to 1 day! :(

can overcharging leads to the problem? whats d best way to charge a phone batt.. wait till it completely empty or charge before it become empty?

no way to hang
i bought it at the beginning of 2009 and since then i've been using cracked apps and i have about 70 apps (i use about 40 of them), and i've done many things to it and still it works great, only one problem, when you play a WMA file, and you close it the music player doesn't end and not responds also, but this is not bad because i use PowerMP3
i recommend everyone to buy one and update it because the update makes it perfect compared to v30 or v11 (when you first buy it) GO nokia only with this phone...

My 5800 is over a year old and works perfectly.
Almost never hangs or crashes..

d phone is only gud if u plan to use it for 2-3 months, after dat it'l stop working properly.. i bought it 6 months back n have had problems ever since... d touchscreen stops working randomly...

i have a minor question, do any of you guys are having problems with the battery? mine is fully charged and somehow it goes dead through the night. same problem happened when i had just the min battery charge left and when i closed it due to a problem it didn't opened, had to charge it again.
