This site helps us a lot. I was able to gather a lot of infos about ds ph0ne before i bought it.

Whatever infos we have abt 5800 we hve to share to other users just like what they did... So f u hve infos just share it dont that way ur thinking ryt n0w.

For me definitely ds s a great ph0ne when c0mes to budget wise and the performance n0t bad for othrs. But for me ds greatph0ne!

    Go to dialler press *#0000# them the firmware details of ur ph0ne appear, press opti0ns go to check updates. There you go.

    Before u do this, be sure make a back up of evrythng thru ur pc suite...

Buy you sound like someone who just wants to be in the limelight by any means. Ofcourse opera mini 5 is available. Opera mini 5 beta will not replace opera 4.2 but opera mini 5 will replace opera mini 4.2.
      And i think there are more than 2 ways to go to youtube. Correct me if i'm wrong. You are the professional.

          Opera mini 5 final is the latest versi0n opera mini 5 beta! You should hve kn0wn that the main difference bet o.m 5 and 5 final s the home screen where the the tool bars n d old versi0n was at the top. But the new one which ur saying "not beta, final 5" is actually BETA. And theres NO SUCH THING AS OPERA MINI 5 FINAL n opera mini download site. Only Opera Mini 5 beta but once you download thats automa iclly the latest versi0n so called " 5 final". U cn find out for youself go to your Opera home screen opti0ns then press help and press about. Its 100% "5 BETA".

          Back to 5800 ofcourse u can play youtube on d phone's browser itself using default player. But what im trying to say is youtube bufferng s faster n O.M than the phones browser.
          Yes you'r right you dont need an app for youtube. Obviously you hve two ways to go youtube,..thru d phones brwser bo0kmark or thru Opera. Its just happen that f u hve a youtube app it takes only one click to go.

For u, it sounds work perfectly maybe waiting a long buffering and without uploading opti0ns. Maybe thats what exactly means "perfectly works" for u. If u have used SE u can easily compare... Especially f u r used on browsing d net uploadng and downloadng u can n0tice just like that. I dont know what sucks bigtime for me. Im sorry cnt see that.

                Opera mini 5 final (not beta) is available. Moreover for youtube you don't need any app. You can watch youtube (flash) video straight from your default browser. Your 5800 has flash lite 3.1.
                Nokia 5800 is a good phone. Not bad not great. But it's hard to beat in terms of value for money. But if you don't know your way around symbian, you won't get the best out of it.
                A few pages back someone said 'this phone corrupts memory card'. He is quite right. If you download with a very low speed gprs your memory card will get corrupted.

                  Then start the nokia software updater.
                  When it asks you to connect the phone, connect using data cable, and select "pc suite" in the pop up that comes on the 5800
                  Then wait for the software updater to analyze your phone model and erc, then it will show you the available update. After that, instructions are displayed on scree.
                  IMPORTANT- Backup all data before software update.!!!!!!
                  Or you can simply take it to a nokia care center, they will upgrade it for you (only if the phone is original!!!!)

                          Another thing, the youtube app in ovi SUCKS too! The bufferng is too slow i mean stupidly annoyingly slow! F u hve a youtube accnt u cnt even upload ur vids as it has no upload opti0ns. Better use operamni 5, set youtube to ur opera home screen block bookmarks. There you go!

                            Hey guys just want to share this piece of info especially for those newbie on ds 5800.
                            When it comes to browser Im using Opera mini as my main browser for 3years now from using nokia 2x bfore then to sony 2x too then back again to n0kia.
                            Still its very fast c0mpare to the phones slow browser ds s accordng to my experience. And it has lot of features and user friendly. U can easly download and upload stuff fr0m ur email or othr sites like f u have youtube account or to post photos n ur facebo0k.

                            The Opera mini u got fr0m ovi is 4.2 old versi0n. Better download Opera Mini 5 Beta on its opera mini site itself. DONT DOWNLOAD THE OPERA 10 MOBILE u might thinking its newer versi0n and works better just i mistaken thought of. Hahaha! It suck u cant even play youtube vids! But in opera mini 5 youtube vids buffer within 3-4 seconds only no matter how long the duration is. Real player automatcally plays it.

                                  Please, people, buy softwares. Don't just install the cracked versions. If you don't buy it, there will be no money for developing more apps. They'll all move to developing iphone apps, where users do really buy apps. If developers stopped making apps for a particular OS, then that OS is doomed.
