hi guys...
i have one problem at hsdpa setting...
when i change mode umts at nokia 5800 v10 is available option to activation hsdpa mode...
and now i got v.20-31-40-50up....the option to active hsdpa isn appears...help me...are nokia erase hsdpa feature...on new firmware???

If you'r preference is music listening SE s still one step ahead than nokia maybe two steps m0re! Ive been using nokia xm's before then ive tried couple of times of se walkmans then n0w i back to n0kia where i was first attracted to its wide touch screen of ds 5800 and ofcourse suits to my budget.
My first choice was se w995. But its quiet expensive.
The audio quality of ds 5800 using headphones can't compared to the crispiness, and crunchy detailed audio of se walkmans. Also 5800 headph0nes r n0t loud en0ugh. The preset EQs are not distinct even you make ur own default preset does'nt help to bo0st the sound.. Still se walkmans are better like the w995.
In general i stil love ds ph0ne! But im n0t really impressed of the music player.. F u have used se walkman and m0st of ur time lstening to music, definitely u cn distinguish which s better. Thats all.. Happy 5800'ing

Replacement set ! that great! Dont why ppl r complaing bout this mob. Maybe their expectation is too high. This phone is good even ind previous v21 firmware. SE produce great mobiles i was on eyeing on w995 last time. Wish i could buy some of SE phone...too bad can afford it. As u said this phone is superb...n it is SuPerB.
N this coloum unit the XM users .. Enjoy yr phone... Cheers

But first option it's better.

Pls go ahead and update the software to v50. it improves the performance of the phone immensely.. i too bought a 5800 xm a couple of days back and updated the sw and do really feel the difference.

Well Finally after Three weeks of research over the internet (by reading reviews over different sites like this one & watching video clips of the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic) I had finally purchased the Big Daddy of Music Phones!
Yes I'm talking about the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic!
I'd owned other Nokia phones earlier but none had the same music clarity like the Nokia N-Gage Claassic (which I still use till date). However, the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic just took me by a suprise when I'd unboxed it and started listening to it over the headphones provided by Nokia. Not only was it good in terms of music listening experience it was EXCELLENT!!!
Man I have no regrets whatsoever in buying this phone.
Only thing that slightly disappoints is the 3.2 Megapixel camera which is a little grainy. But hey, I have no regrets caz I've no keen interests in clicking pictures from this phone. I need only Good Music and Video Output & which this phone delivers very well.
I'd received this phone with Firmware V40 however I'm already in the process of getting this phone updated with the latest Firmware that Nokia has to offer i.e. V50. In that way it will be offering almost exactly the same features like the Nokia N97 mini!

i just love this 5800 mob. coz there is no doubt in internet speed, camera result, navigation & maps, and ofcourse music
