Today I have recieved a sms from nokia care that a new fw released v50.2. I have already installed v50.0. but during updating through OTA shows no new update.

Guys and girls, don't just use your phone as it is. I mean try to get the best out of it by installing great apps. Here's my list of great apps.
        1. Smartmovie for watching avi (xvid/divx).
        2. Ucweb for fast browsing (esp. for those on 2g/gprs/edge) and it's excellent download manager.
        3. Handy taskman . It's excellent task manager. Displays all information you need.
        4. X-plore. File manager. Simply awesome. Zip/rar compatible.
        5. SPB shell. Simply awesome. The visual enhancement is it's main forte.
        6. Kxting or ttpod. Music player. It plays everything. Main advantage is lyric/karaoke display. It shows lyrics in real time. Automatic lyric and album cover download.
        7. Bt receiver. You can choose any folder whether in phone or memory card to receive files using bluetooth.
        8. i-sms. Threaded sms.
        9. Free signer with certificate and key. Yup, no more certificate related error whatsoever.
        10. And many others which are obvious and popular.
You can get all of this for free if you know where to shop. And no, it's not OVI.
If some of you ask me where to get all of this for free, pity be on you. You bought a wrong phone, you should buy iphone and buy everything easily from app store with the inflated price.

That e-series phones always have better better battery life and camera is plain untrue and in denial of Nokia specification numbers.

There are phones that are better than the 5800 and the E63 is not one of them by any objective measure.

We also have to remember we have a responsibility posting on these boards. Pretending that the E63 is a viable competitor to the 5800 is misleading to buyers.

SAM , 27 May 2010When you are talking about value for money phone then I mus... moreThe E63 is not a better value for money. It has a greatly inferior display, worse camera, worse processor, outdated interface, slower 3G, less battery life, no GPS (so you don't get free OVI navigation) and doesn't come with an 8 GB class 6 microSD card. The E63 is just an outdated phone.

The 5800 is also not the best value for the money. The 5530 and 5230, stripped down versions of the 5800 that suit individual users are currently the best values. The 5800 was formerly the best value before the two new phones came along. There are also now similar phones available from competitors that didn't exist 6 months ago. -.-

Even if an app hangs, the system keeps active and you can shut down the problematic app through the task manager.
