5800 is an awsome mobile, it's sound is very smooth as well. Buying this ismore worththan buying aniphone, which is so expensive with below par specs!!!!!

correction question.. : i mean why the kinetic scrooling it's not work in web pages.. as we know that n97's kinetic scrooling work on web pages.. n somebody know any application for music.. coz the sound of music on 5800 is not too smooth.. not like sony ericson.. LG.. or samsung phone.. thanks..

i had already update the newest firmware 4.0.. there is kinetic scrooling.. but why only work on contact and menu only.. but if we open web page.. the kinetic scrooling its work.. its not the some with n97's kinetic scrooling which can work in web pages.. anyone can explain that?? thanks

Hello Neo, i heard that people have found a way to overclock the n900 to 900 mhz.
Is there anyway thatyou can overclock the 5800??????to something like 500 mhz?????? Reply please : ))

thats strange, ur images went missing. well first of all, try to connect ur phone to pc and browse through, whether the files are there or not. i recommend you to choose mass storage and then locate ur pics under (:\images). hopefully, it is there. or not, try to pull out ur memory card and insert it to a card reader. if its not there, then i'm afraid, its lost. :-( u can recover it, but make sure u've not installed anything as the installed files might save over the 'deleted files'.

U can use 3rd party mp3 players for ur nokia. eg would be lcg jukebox. u can download it by jus registering to any symbian forum. there are many mp3players out there. i myself do not use built in player. try to search it and u'll find plenty.

well, thanks for the compliment, but i'm not an expert, i'm interested in phones and i like solving problems, esp when i have the same phone and like to share my experiences wif everyone. well, down to business, :-) there are many softwares, an eg that was posted by ankit, super converter, it is free, i do use it at times but my personal favourite is any converter. u can google search it and its free, the free version is more than enuf for conversion. it is easy to use for beginners, and also for professionals. i personally use this software. the conversion is quite fast as well. get this software and u'll enjoy all the movies on ur 5800XM :-)
and for chatting program, well, i did use minbuzz but fring has more functions, ie skype is included and u can make skype calls and even video calls on skype. u can transfer files, chat, etc.. so functionality wise, i would recommend fring. it is free as well, and u can log in into multiple im, yahoo, msn, to name a few. google it and u'll find more info on it.

well, as far as i'm using this phone for 3 months now, i've not encountered the side unbutton to unlock hangs. it might happen due to the individuals phone maybe coz too many appz were installed or some virus infection. or it can be due to faulty, (well, that u can't runaway). as far i can see, this phone is a charm, works just like a laptop or even IPAD, :-), jus a smaller version. and definitely, much much cheaper.

Am using this fone for last 5 Months - great piece & I have updated the firmware - so enjoying the k-Scrolling.
I am facing 1 issue in the music player - after playing 1 song, the music application gets stuck .. I cannot kill the application till I re-start - all other application runs smoothly as usual.
I have re-loaded the Software couple of times but no success. I love listening to songs & quite frustated at times.
Can somebody help??

Suggest you to use Super Converter for videos. I have tried a lot of them & find this one as the best - free download available at official website.
You can google to get the best setting for N 5800 XM.

well gr8 phone with nice apps...best app for chating all in one messenger is "Fringe" must try it for voice too gr8 quality..thnx to Nokia for such gr8 phone in a decade!!

i just got my nokia 5800 a week ago & it's a very nice phone but i've one problem each time i set a ring tone 4 it i found the mobile ring with nokia tone i don't know whyy i even set a specific ring tone for a group of contacts & also when some of them -not all- call the mobile ring with nokia tone ..why it doing this plzzzz help
