Hello frnz please help me out...i'm frm india nd in the phone market for few weeks nd i shortlisted the 5800,N79 nd half heartly w705 and i hate tht samsung corby...i'm gonna keep the phone for another 3 yrs...i Luv to hear loads of songs daily and heavy internet browsing only at week ends...please help me to chose frm those models..any new suggestions r also welcomed....

I heard that its unlocking button on the side hangs ( when unlocking the phone) and you can't unlock it for sometime. Is this true? . . .

don't belive what others say that this phone sucks.
they just don't know how to use this phone properly.
they don't know how to take care of it.
all they do is just complain, but it's really their fault that they hated this phone..
anyways, it's a very great phone!
wifi, hsdpa, s60v5 os, large screen, and touchscreen are the best features in the nokia 5800.
although the camera is only 3.2mp, it's still good.
but if you love to take pictures, go for other camera phones instead of this. :)
it's a superb phone! if you're planning to get this phone, you will never regret it just like danielcf_15 said. =)

well thanks for the input, for me, smartmovie is quite ok, but it lags a lil, so its ok wif me. there's no other player compatible wif s60v5, so that is the best alternative as of now is smartmovie. core player for v5 is not out yet. and yes, the daily interest has goe up, n yp, hope it reaches till 90% again.

yeah even i am facing problem with this phone...always gets switched off and the nokia dealer says software upgradation needed!!! vexed of all these!! pls do not go for this model..

The size doesnt matter but the quality[frame rate] matters i guess, thereal player was unable to play when the files were converted to high quality mp4. I like to watch da movies in high quality, that's why i'm searching for an alternative video player(other than smartmovie). And good job, the daily interest of the 5800 came up to 73% from 49% , that's awsome. Should try to get it back to 90%. Waiting for advice and thanks for replying neo : ))
