mine started after v40 on my phone.... moreHye,
well, can i noe how long hv u been using this phone? and after upgrading it to v40, ur having tis prob izit? well, i've been using this v40 for nearly 3months and i dun hv those kind of problem. maybe u can send it to nokia centre if its under warranty, or maybe u've installed many appz thats y. after how long ur phone gets reboot?

Wow, superb phone, best value for price, gets regular updates unlike the samsung jet. Superb phone, i rate it 10 10 10!!!!!!

Anonymous, 05 Apr 2010this is the worst phone ever mine switch off all the times ... morethis is a good phone (specially for starters)and offers good features in less price .About screen i would like to say that it won't give you good response only when you don't handle it with care or if there is some corrupted software in it(i m saying this cause i own it almost1 year now and it still working smoothly!)

this is the worst phone ever mine switch off all the times and the screen is very not sensitive plus the phone it self is ugly

screen problem........
mine started after v40 on my phone......
screen goes white with horizontal strips mostly black coloured...n fades......n phone restarts/.........HELP PPLE..n neo

agreed it is a smartphone....
but how many games did u actually find that worked properly on nokia 5800...
about music player....loud huh??? have u ever heard a n91 or n79..... i guess surely not!!!
and about personalizing it.... the more u install... the slower it becomes and the closer u move to formatting it....
and about ur dare!!! samsung jet too has approximately the same the price and can be customized much more than 5800..... u install a 3rd party on 5800 for a specefic purpose and the samsung jet will already have it....
all i mean to say is that nokia 5800 doesent deserve the hew and cry it got.... which ultimately led to misled customers... including even me....
there r much better phones out there.... and also in the same rice range approximately!

When will it co... morev 40 is already out, i had my new nokia 5800 last friday and asap i had it in my hands, i updated my firmware version through nokia software update. the phone is working fine, but the battery is like it lasts for a day after i message whole day, use an hour or 2 of wifi and other stuff like radio and music. its all cool mobile though

I've bought this nokia few months ago and i even can't use it well. damn, my ovi chat doesn't work at all. this nokia makes me bore, imho. i think i'll change it to BB storm 2.

NEO, 05 Apr 2010Hye, can i noe what do u meant by dvdrip movie movie? wh... more700 mb avi files, downloaded from limewire, converted to mp4 format through xilsoft video converter,with resolution 640*480, in high quality. When converted to normal quality it works but not in high quality, says unable to play clip. That's the case. Reply please :-)

I'm using nokia 5800 i hve facing a ... moreI have same problem as Raneesh, I updated my phone's software.. and I installed some new games, application and themes to the phone's memory card. After few weeks I went back to Themes menu and the phone showed some colored lines and automatically restarted itself ! This phone's software is really unstable. A warning to all users out there to becareful what you download. I have still not gotten this problem solved. Anybody facing the same problem ?

Anonymous, 04 Apr 2010Your phone must be having the wrong message center number.... morehow will i get d number of d servce provider?? but stil i've inserted other sim but its stil not working, but my message centre is correct..and i'm planing to send it on nokia care and i've already restore all default settings in my phone, its still not sending text..
