By formating you will be able to correct the problem just temporarily... But as soon as you remove and re-insert it you will face the problem again, also if you put many files on it or the files that are big in size you will face the data corruption problem.
Its something like it will handle till 50 or 100 mb after which data starts to corrupt automatically.
So dude thats not virus.
Solution is if your mobile is under 3 months of its purchase you can go for replacement of memory card.
(in my country its 3 months)

I've been reading through the opinions and it seems like all everyone has are problems and more problems. Can anyone tell me if this phone is actually as good as the ratings it gets and what makes it better than say the LG GT505 or the Samsung S5230?

Hi NEO ,
One more dimension of my phones problem. :- When U switch off and eject the memory card, then ON, the applications menu opens perfectly (only 3-4 apps which are installed in phone memory will open) and everything seems very perfect. [but prob re appears when u push the card in]
so, does that mean that the Memory card is corrupt? Formatting mem card will solve my problem instead of hard reset?
Please suggest, Neo.

i have a problem with my phone....half the pictures i take on my phone say its corrupted and unable to open images and most of my music files are unable to play in the phone saying its corrupted even though u can play them in the comp
also my phone keeps hanging at times...is it a virus???or is something wrong with the memory card???help pls!!!!!!!

I had the same problem with this phone and it disappear after i updated the phone software. A caution, first you make a backup of your phone contents then download the updated software. Once installed correctly this hanging problem goes out. Cheers.

So you can guess from that itself its quite easy to type on it and its generally error free.
But it takes some time getting used to type on it error free moreover if you enable touch vibrations, it helps you to tell character has been entered, by vibrating also you can type fast on it too...

Alot Of ppl that i know have had problems with this phone freezing..i personally have had this aswell...but once i switched off my accelerometer(sensor)..the phone works perfectly..i feel the accelerometer to be a pointless feature anyway..
so yeah..enjoy

I have been using this phone since last 5 months and quite satisfied with its results. I have got it flashed with v40 from Nokia care as the update was not available at nsu (still not available). The phone is having all the facilities except the hardware is not supported, the kinetic scrolling is good but due to its hardware speed the scolling sometimes hang. But overall the phone is the best for the price, i have bought it for 13100 in october 2009 and now the price is around 13400 so i have bought it for less
