NEO, 15 Mar 2010Hye there, u can go to the music app and go to options and ... morehy Neo i tried that but it keeps on searching for hrs but finds no songs si i have to cancel search..... reseted it again but same problem... v40 is too bugy.... tanx man but need find another solution

why the hell has cell phones got all this bullcrap firmware update shit, there bloody computers now and all these shit application downloads why the hell people obsessed with all this new crap i want the old basic phones back.none of these phones these days last long at all, i stil got all the old nokias workin from like 6, 7 years ago, why phones only live 1-2 years now and get viruses? wtf

with the new firmware, u need to slide to ur right if u want to off the alarm when the phone is locked or below it is the snooze, where u need to slide from right to left. try it once more and u'll c it, :-)

Start the phone press green, red and camera button all together at the same time while it is starting up.

thanks rahul and Anonymous...it came back on without the memory card but there is one other problem.
The key and contacts are not coming on! so i can't dial any number an worst of all i can't reset because the keypad is not working.
how do get it to work again?

hy rudy just do on thing if ur phone start as advised by removing memory card. just do a reset *#7370# after taking all back up.... theres a bug in this fone...... nd SAmeer dont laminate ur phone get ur self a screen gard costed me 70 bugs...

guys i maybe buy this phone for 2 weeks... is it true that if u updated this phone to v.40 it will have some problem? pls give me some informations/advises on it.... second is i want to know what are the steps to update this phone to v.40 and third is does it need to have internet access when u are updating it? and is it free to update? that my 3 questions pls answer me... thanks to all!! godbless!!

I installed New firmware v4****5. Now I have faced a trouble with the alarm. I cannot stop the alarm once it stat when mobile is been locked. Please help, Is this problem in my mobile settings or firmware?

The latest version 4****5 works fine but it is better to format the memory card before the upgrade, since certain software's installed on your memory card may have compatibility issues with the upgraded firmware... The firmware is not perfect and pretty soon Nokia will release a better upgrade... People who are having memory card issues would have to format their memory cards and start from scratch... the same solution for people who are unable to synchronize the music library after the upgrade... Refrain from installing too many applications because you end up filling the registry and the phone has to maintain all threads... Check your bluetooth settings and internet settings to enhance battery life, turn them off when not needed... you can also enhance battery life by switching to GSM only mode which most wouldn't prefer but it makes a significant difference overall...
