i would suggest u buy the 5800.
since the 5800 has many more features than the 5530.
yes i do agree that the 5800 is old but the new firmware update(v40) makes it the same interface like the 5530.so the 5800 is better!!

Kingz, 05 Mar 2010Pls what is kinetic scrolling and where can i find it on my 5800.kinetik scrolling is a way of scrolling through ur files and menus in touch screen phones. it is quite common in phones such as the iphone, htc hero,etc. and now is there on the 5800. instead of the old system of dragging the small barr on ur right to move up and down ur menus,songs,etc u can simply swipe ur finger on the screen to scroll..
to get this on ur 5800 u need to update ur phone to v40.

with new ovi suit, u can update u're OS easly...
one more, u can get and used nokia maps just for free..
no more 7 days only..

im having a problem with my phone when i turn on the camera and manually zoom the image i'd like to snap using the zooming button switch(volume control)it did'nt work but the zoom on touch screen it works,how this happen any idea how to fix the problem,i want my fon works perfectly..

can i noe how do u maintain ur battery? do you take extra care or wat? u can get 8 hrs for a phone call, tats amazing. ur battery is made in china or hungary? rpy.

i can bet that no 1 must be using ruff n tuff then me 5800..my pcb board is fully bend becoz my phone fall down when i bough with in 2 week of purchase..after falling screen got broked which cost me around 2500rs after then due to PCB board is bend my bluetooth n radio are not working but still i can say ths phone is best..well i cant update my phone now..becoz if once i updated my phone then my phone maygoing to loss all internal n external data so i m happy using v20 hacked vesion..in which i have updated 5 new more homescreen ;))

Take Samsung JET!
I am Nokia fun, more then 10 years use many model of Nokia, the last model is 5800(the 3rd time I bought, my 1st and 2nd are blue and red stip and my 3rd is silver strip) and I still using it, 5800 is execellance phone but compare to Sumsung Jet, yes Sumsung Jet is better but you much pay more, so you pay more you get more.
Why I take Samsung? I got Sumsung Jet 4 days ago, the main reason is I can not get upgrade to ver 40 in my country(Indonesia)and Nokia never answer my question in many forum i rise it.
secind reason are Samsung Disply, sound and battery is much better than 5800.
What I dont like with Sumsung that up to now they dont have the Suit for Windows 7, in time of sofware Sumsung very slow included the sofware in the phone.
So,.... if you want pay more buy Sumsung, remember I still use 5800 since I love it, what I dont like is my 5800 cant do kinetic scrol(?), it oly in version 40!!!

since 5530 is the cut down vn of 5800 but also the latest release of the mentioned phones would you say 5800 is still the better one knowing that this is the older phone?
