Mohab_93, 04 Mar 2010OK everyone , u guys keep saying it's a bad phone and compl... moreok mohab buddy i have a question here.. i plan of getting 5530 or 5800. which of the two would you suggest? regardless of the price.
since 5530 is the cut down vn of 5800 but also the latest release of the mentioned phones would you say 5800 is still the better one knowing that this is the older phone?

If I buy a new 5800 will the software version still be 21.0.025 as this is what i need to connect to a cd btb200 for total handsfree in my new truck.

OK everyone , u guys keep saying it's a bad phone and complaining about the battery. Shut up and listen
this phone has a 1320 mAh battery which is the most powerful battery ever made by nokia ,apple and samsung. Other problems, then upgrade firmware to v40 it totally changes the phone any problems (which is ur fault)WILL be fixed. Don't listen to those nokia haters or whatever, they just can't stand seeing nokia so successful!

Forget 5800 . Just buy 5230 / 5233 . Its the same

i have talked 560 hours in this phone for the last 9 months..still battery lasts 8 hrs,if i talk continuasly..this phone rockz...i recommend it for music lovers and heavy users...i also fell from 2 meters 4tyms...still working good.......believe me or not.in this 9 months the phone was switched of only once...its open for the last 9 months...never hanged

On any nokia phone, eventhough your using your memory card for storing files, your phone memory still gets used, so when it reaches the critical level like 8mb or less it will hang due to lack of memory, what you can do is create a good back up of your phone, keep it on your memory, so that when it hangs you can still recover the necessary file needed. *#7370* will reset your entire phone just like when you first opened it. To make it short, make sure to create a back up before you reset it.

Hey everyone! I'm due for an update in a few days and I have a choice between the nokia 5800xm and a samsung jet I was wondering if I could get your opinions to which is a better choice. Basically what I want is an all around multimedia phone I don't need a real powerhouse smart phone I got my blackberry 9700 for that. I posted this same question in the samsung jet forum hehehe just for comparisons of peoples reactions
