I think Android is more "idiot proof" than Symbian but i think Symbian has still more applications to date for it cause its alot older than Android. I think even the Apple Apps are alot less than the applications Symbian has. If im wrong its just cause there are too many single serving applications Apple OS has than Symbian.

its official that new FIRMWARE will be out by d end of march.... it'll have custumizable home screen like n97(.which was a failure for nokia) NO OTHER IMPROVEMENTS....

Will Nokia 5800 price will decrease a bit in next 2 months because of Budget 2010? Budget 2010 is reduces the tax on mobiles, so that mobile and mobile accessories prices will decrease.
And what is the best price "now" to buy Nokia 5800?
And so many saying that camera is poor. Is camera poor really or is it better if we remove the cover on lens?
Can you please let me know the answer to my Question.
I would like to buy this phone in the month of April.

hi. i've got a problem with my 5800, and i don't know why.. when i try to unlock the phone, it doesn't work, or it shut down, and restart two times.

is there any setting for camera,too snowy or blard i cant even take a gud snap and the other problem i've got is when i downloaded something it appears there "EXPIRED CERTIFICATE" i cant even download anything i like...quite disappointing..pls i need help or instruction how to fix...

camera is not that bad. only the light sensivity is poor..

Justine, 25 Feb 2010I'm from Philippines and I haven't got any V40 yet! anyone... morev.40 is available in the phlippines just use the nokia software updater or ovi suite to upgrade your phone

I recommend everyone Don't buy this phone ... morethe phone is cheap not because it is bad. it has lower quality cam. see any phone, a phone with less quality(mp)cam will be cheap and a phone with high mp cam will be costly. if you want to confirm see any mobile.n82 have same features but it is costly than this ph because it has 5mp cam. thats the fact why price is less. i have this phone and have not experienced any prob

Its a wonderful phone with almost all the features for todays needs, but some time it hangs and resolving time is high.

Justine, 25 Feb 2010I'm from Philippines and I haven't got any V40 yet! anyone... moreHi Justine, yes v40 is already available here in phils. My 5800 had already updated to v40 last feb.03,2010. Before I'd treid upgrading my phone v. by my self but i've incountered lots of bugs after the upgrade of my phone. No kenitic scrolling and my home short cut bar does't work anymore even the derict phone dial. So i've drop by in nokia center at alabang town center to reupgrade my v40 and told them about the essue of my phone. They said my touch panel had encountered a major problem. That's whay i can't access to my phone derict dial and home shor cut bar.Since my phone still under the warranty they replaced my touch panel and upgraded my phone to v40. Now my phone looks brand new as if i've just bought it yesterday. So, Justine if you've not yet upgraded your phone.I recommend you to pay a vesit to nokia town center to upgrade your version in a safest way and if your phone has some essue they would take care of it, service free if your phone still in warranty just like mine. Good luck...
