NEVER EVER CHOSE A SYMBIAN PHONE....
Read carefuly frndz m giving u this view after using alot of phones from nokia.
NEVER EVER CHOSE A SYMBIAN PHONE....
what acheap and small operating system, with 90% of apps having certificate problem and majorty of which nokia want u to purchase from their so called ovi store and n.gage arena even after you have paid a lot for a phone.. also the User Interface is very boring and conventional from years in nokia. now symbian OS and n.gage is being closed at end of this year(you can cnfirm this on gsmarena or from many sites giving you the latest news).
nokia is changing the OS from symbian s60 to symbian^1 and ^4 but with not so much change of application compatibilty, multimedia features and also the UI.
now wake up u ppl go for a bigger plateform like WINDOWS, MAC and ANDROID with extlmly attractive and lovely UI, looks, multimedia features, music, and speacialy touch screen cz its the age of touch screen nw. HTC, APPLE and SAMSUNG have made NOKIA very down from this point of view. nokia exeed only in durability and btry lifr which is also being coped by other menufacturers now.
finaly guys choose an htc/samsung windows mobile or iPHONE according to ur affordability, and u will c that what a little device can do..... it will change ur life and view about a phone with its pretty UI and the very bigger OS than this symbian.

PLEASE HELP MEEE :(
I am trying to back up my files in file manager and It keeps telling me:
"Memory Full Close some applications and try again" "Error occurred, Operation cancelled"
I deleted EVERYTHING on my Memory Card and Also closed all applications. Nothing Works! I even took out and put in my memory card but that still did not do anything. HELPPPPP PLEASE :(
I HAVE TO DO THIS BEFORE I UPGRADE MY PHONE :(

Got this yesterday and cant update my firmware to V40 from V21.0.025 yet product code is compatible with it... When connected to NSU it says its up to date... any ideas?

Can you help me the movies i uploaded on my 5800 phone is not working all is on mp4 format. will i need to bring it to my nokia center. im receivig corrupted file.

Hi guys!
I used Nokia N95 great phone great OS great camera and now I am planning to buy 5800XM.
Its cheap and it has touch screen but so many negative statements confusing me either to buy or not..
I want a phone to be great media oriented one with perfection please suggest if this is a better phone than N95 or I should go for some other mobile like samsung Winmo versions..?plZ help.

This phone is wonderful. I forgot that my 5800 was in my jacket pocket and it flew violently out when i took my jacket off. It fell right on solid concrete, the battery cover, battery, and the phone were scattered very far apart. Imagine my suprise when i put it back together and find nothing wrong considering that it flew up at an angle for some distance and then it falls. Symbian is just wonderful, there's lots and lots of cracked applications. If you want fancy, stylish, show-off but not very useful interface get something else. But if you want lots and lots of useful free(cracked) apps, get symbian.

I believe that many people say that the camera is bad quality maybe because you didn't remove the protector on the lens...if u picture in the night with flash the picture will be whitish...but after i remove the protector it was clear...i love this phone...i don't know if the screen is durable because i never dropped it on the floor but on the table...heheh

Can anyone help me, I tried adding a mp4 movie earlier it is my first time got from my friend who is using a 5800 express music as well, but it did not work, coming up as i corrupted file, 1 movie played but then it got deleted automatically, then the memory space on my sd card still shows that 700mb is still missign even though the file is not on my phone.

i am goin' to buy a touch phone
but getting confused between
NOKIA 5800, 5230, 5235
MOSTLY BETN THE 5800 AND 5235
as they have many features in common
and 5235 is less costly
but 5800 is a xpressmusic
while 5235 is not!!!!!!!
anyways budget is no bar
bt still i was getting confused!!!!!!!!!
plz help fast...........

great phone with.superb touch screen & excellent music quality..truly i had heard bass only from this phone..no any phone can create real bass...just try guys....play a songwith real bass on this phone....
