The nokia 5800 is a very good mobile which offers value for monet! audio quality is very good, superb FM radio, games and connectivity too are good. The sensitivity of the screen is ok but it's not the best in the industry. Works really fine after the latest update 40.00.05. Has great apps too. The only bad thing is it gets kind of sluggish when you put too much of apps, not music! Mine gets stuck on the nokia screen so i have to remove the battery to switch it off and restart it without the memory card! That's the only problem i have encountered and up to date it's one of the best phones i have ever used.

how, 07 Feb 2010how to downgrade from v4 to v3,please teach meFrnd downgrad the F/W is not an easy task, it may cause serious damages to the whole OS.
If u ready for everything then try google search about this process using jaf method...

I've updated my firmware to V40.0.0.05, and now the radio on the phone is freezing all the time :(

--Wifi (so easy to browse using Wifi n/w)
--GPS (lifetime free nokia maps)
--TV out (the feauture is NOT removed. wery well works, u need to by a cable)[samsung's tvout works only for video, not for camera/images/games/pdf reader etc.]
--Sound quality outperforming the other phones of same price range
--Symbian application avaliability is more (Nokia's OVI store is second to iPhone's apple store)

Hi Everyone, I'm looking to buy this phone soon. How long does the battery last? Is everyone charging their 5800 everyday?
Have an N80 and after talking for about a 1hr, the phone needs to be charged again.
I have had sony w380 and w300 and the batteries are good for another few days after 1hr talk.
More info on usage and battery life, the better.

hey guys, can someone tell me what does changing the product code is and what will happen to your phone? does it means that when you change your product code is basically you've changed your serial IMEI? and how did the warranty became void when you change product code? thanks guys...

it can play 3gp,mp4 by default real player for .avi format u need to install LCG smartmovie app..
There are thousands of apps available for 5800 around the net..
I happy with it, still now no crashes occured.. recommended for everyone..
