How do you turn off the Camera Sound?Hey,
I dont think you can unless you put it on silent mode and then take a picture. I know you go into camera and then setting and it says "capture tone" but it does not say anything else. Hope I could help.

HI everyone, my home screen is not allowing me to use touch or the buttons. It does not dial numbers or go into contacts from the home screeen however when I got into the menu both those buttons work (Red and Green for calling and ending a call) - Please help me. It just started doing this a few days ago.

hello,want to buy a nokia 5800.can anyone tell how good it is for a cheap price of 13500bucks.also some are saying v40 upgrade is good,and by v40 it has got touch good response,music,5530 homescreen etc...but some are saying v4o is not good.the problems are sound quality reduces,qwerty keyboard not getting etc...so which version is good actually?

To all trying to download 40.
Dont change your product code as it will void your warranty. Even if the firmware is not available for download for your product code, the guys at nokia store will do it for you for free. That too in an hour and keeping your warranty intact.

It allows u to download the maps directly from ur pc to your fone. But I have to download the whole map of my country. Theres also voices available for download in different languages.

i dnt know about ur battery.but i think its good enough.i talk 4-5 hrs,browse 1hr,play music at least 8 hrs a day,also watch vidZ for at least 5 mints in a single day.i have to recharge it once in a day...wht do u think? is it bad? better than every phone..my life time is 460 hrs...i dnt think the battery is bad at all

But, i bought it in Bangalore last sunday and i got it. Sennheiser HS which had a stcikers mentioning "free with nokia5800 phone". not so impressive though!.

I am facing a problem that is, when I want to select a picture as a wallpaper at that time it's shown that memory is full. But neither my phone memory nor memory card is not full yet.
How can I over come this problem?
Please help me.............................

This phone is awesome guys!, no second phone can have this many feature for this price. Real iPhone killer :-)
however, we shoud admit that we have some problem too. Can't expect a gem priced@million$ when you pay a noraml low price. The comments i have are -
>>Battery performance is not improved significantly eventough i had 4-5 dischg-rechg cycles(i expected it to performe better). just 2 hrs of music, a little bit of experimenting on touchcreen, max 10-15mins of calls - for this avarage usage IT NEEDS DAILY RECHARGE!... im scared abt this!
>>Hangs when 4-5 apps are kept open. the hang occurs at least once a day for me. have to remove battery to reset(as Off button also doesnt work)
As i had been telling abt the sound loudness - i am disappoined bcoz it is only 75% of 6233's loudness and clarity of sound.
>>Build quality is not so good.(as compared to samsung touchscreen phones which are even cheaper priced, can't compare to iphone at all[cant be a iphone killer at least in this])
>>Sennheiser headset that they claim of Rs2290 (india) is not really so effective. My sonyericsson blue tooth's earphone performs better! and also louder.
Overall, im not satisfied with the loudness though clarify is fine.

For the peopl who are skeptic abt. TVOut,- IT WORKS!.
Though it isnt packaged with a cable, the feature is included(if you are buying a phone in india), get a TVOut cable separately and connect to TV. u can transfer the display of anything on screen to TV(image, music, games playing, video[dvd quality!!! amazing] Wifi browsing, what not!!!!)
FOR The people still thinking "should i buy? or not" pls buy rightaway!. u wont regret.

Hi,I download the v.31 updates.but msg indicate that update is not compatible with my phone nokia 5800 ex.music. Does any body know what can i do about that?
