som1 help please after this new update my phone lights dnt turn off for example after i put it on charge the charging and usually it the backlight wud turn off now aftr the update its stay on and doesnt turn of ne1 cud help plz my email is mohsinkamal17@hotmail.com thnx

Memo, 19 Jan 2010I totally agree, I've just tried it and it was about 80% of... moreI don't think any other cell phone in this price range is in the market having so much applications and features like 3g, wifi,30 f/s video recording, gps etc. So you better go for this cell phone.

Full qwerty is there in sw 4.0, just rotate the phone to landscape and full qwerty appears automatically!

i have found how to make sharper and nicer photos with it: do not auto-focus when taking a shot, press the shutter-key fully without steps.

why nobody answer questions about cracked navigation program for 5800... nobody using navigation here on 5800?? :) or everybody here paid for navigation? lolz

guys i'm from india and my 5800's product code is 0575590. My phones firmware is v 30. I tried to update it through FOTA and NSU both but it shows "No updates available". When i checked on nokia site's software update page it said that the latest firmware available for my product code is v30. I'm naot able to update my phone even to v31. Please guys help me out and advice what i should do now? Thanks in advance....!!

After udating to v40 i am not able to connect to internet through dialup, after choosing pc suite mode phones drivers are not automatically installed,for this reason phones modem is not detected by pc suite, one touch access is failed due to absence of modem detection,is there similar problem for anyone? Any solution? Help

I am in south africa i am using 5800xm thing is i can not update my firmware i have v30 i cant even get v31 is there any one is south africa experiencing the same problem.

Hi, today i tried to install 1.5 giga songs in my cell, but when I tried to refresh library, it would not. Any reason for that?

Memo, 19 Jan 2010And another thing , are the things about the camera and how... morein my opinion the picture quality in nokia 5800XM is 75% as compared to nokia N73 music edition. The picture quality cannot be much improved by manual settings as it seems that there may be some hardware problem or may be cheap quality hardware used by nokia.

TO ALL WHO PINPOINT BUGS IN V40,
common guys,dont u have life??u wanted nokia to release a firmware for nokia 5800 with kinetic scrolling and new homescreen.they gave u this new firmware and u r again pinpointing this silly bug of the light not going off after complete charge??pls people ,get some life....
