and of course i cannot update, because my local Orange decided to mess with the software. Good to be stuck with v21... NOOOT :-/

my new nokia 5800 hang couple of times after the end of the incoming calls. Happen about 4 - 5 times in 3 weeks. is this common? except this problem it is good phone

hi i do recognize that this nokia 5800 is really a good phone but just one thing is lacking in it to make it perfect is windows mobile so that we customers may chat online, why do the people from nokia don`t
release to us such as type of phone ? sincerely. souza

At last! I have updated yesterday to v 40.0.005. Everything is as described by gsmarena + when you have a contact bar hometheme you can also have a music player controls when it is minimised. It even shows the album art! Kinetic scroling is all over except for the main menu. Now the phone is awsome! Unfortunately nokia software updater does not support windows 7 yet, so I had to use my friend PC to update the firmware.

Anonymous, 14 Jan 2010download latest software updater from nokia official site a... moredownload latest software updater from nokia official site and install it to pc.connect ur phone to pc via usb n open the updater. follow instructions on the screen .if there is any new update, the updater will notify u and u can just install the new upadte. it takes 1\2 an hour depending on ur net speed

i had this phone for few months,then got i phone and it rocks compared to 5800 , ifound 5800 was to slow in every way espically the touch screen.

Hi all, I read somewhere does not support 'smileys' when sending text, can someone plse confirm if this is true, that there is no smileys on the phone? Seems strange. Thanks.
